PLD/THF, Cruadin or any other 83 damage weapon, look for a 299 or less crit. Should happen about 27% of the time iirc.
Are you not accounting for the secondary randomizer (a 2.95 will be bumped above 3.0 most of the time) and critical attack bonus (which practically all DDs but DRG now have, hence PLD instead of DRK with Cruadin above)? Before DRK got Crit attack bonus I determined Cruadin's 10% bonus on crits in Campaign because that 100 damage made it so easy to see pDif straight out.
Derpydouble
DRG needs Crit Attack Bonus so bad. It's nice that DRK got it although they don't benefit from it as much as DRG would what with Drakesbane and Spirit/Soul Jump...
I haven't seen anything on Ruinator's fTP and there's no mention of it on bgwiki, so I did some to knock it out
War99/thf49 (did it on war so I could use my crossbow to TP. a LOT faster)
Wearing: Alard's Axe+2, Velocity Bow, Acid Bolts, Chiv Chain, Brutal Earring, Ravager's Lorica +2, Hoard Ring, Rajas Ring. All other slots empty
All ws vs Wild Rabbits in East Ronfaure, using Sneak Attack, TP between 100 and 110 (not that it should matter, but just to be safe)
Str: 101+4; 105
Crit Damage+ should be 8% with trait, correct?

I'm not sure exactly how to factor in crit damage bonus, so someone will have to correct me if my math is off, [edited away the stupidness]
realizing that I was silly and forgot to take not of how many merits I had ini ruinator before mathed it, the fTP comes out at ~1.0 or just shy, depending, again, on whether I'm counting this crit damage bonus correctly.
War has 11% crit damage bonus @ 99.
It is 15 R/Ex Elemental Seals, which drop like Geodes off highish level stuff. I have been getting them in Abyssea. They are not particularly common.
Without knowing how many merits you had into Ruinator, it makes it kind of hard to deal with your data.
Base damage after factoring out crit bonus: 98
Alard's Axe: 60
Str: 105
fStr: 14
Total weapon: 74
Total remainder: 98 - 74 = 24
@1 merit:
WSC = 17
74 + 17 = 91
98 / 91 = 1.077 to 1.087
@2 merits:
WSC = 35
74 + 35 = 109
98 / 109 = 0.90 to 0.908
So fTP of ~1.08 if tested with 1 merit, or fTP of ~0.9 if tested with 2 merits.
Ah, and see you noted your merits in the edit message as being 1. So, about 1.08 fTP (between 79/1024 and 89/1024; probably 80).
It's 15 ".", but there are Gems for every element, so that's my bet. They are neither Rare or Ex according to the JP dat mining page.
Summoner staves get Perp-8 BP delay-12
Magic Damage staves get Magic Damage+6 Magic Acc+1 Casting time-14%
Based on the armor dat mines on that same site, I'm fairly sure those are actually the gems used to create the new Stat+8, OppStat-3 Rings.
Also for the record, on that page under those gems are things labelled Head/Body/Hands/Legs/Feet Exchange item that stack to 99 (AF2+2 items?) and Collection Item A-F.
Also, ブロッコリー is Broccoli. They're adding the shittiest vegetable ever to the game and that's crossing the fucking line.
That's good news for the perp staves. The last update left the perp at -6 (with an awesome additional -2 BP delay), and that was terrible. Although that does suck for the damage staves, if they didn't want to increase the damage they could have given them more Magic Accuracy so people who made them didn't have to lug around the HQ level 51 staves anymore. >_>
They might be used both to drive the price up.
Definitely going to slowly finish damage staves. -2% Casting Time is pathetic given the requirements for such a trial
