Are you sure it's -8? I thought I read -7 somewhere earlier.

And how is -6 bad? I get 4 MP per tic on all my avatars without favor. I don't think I need any more -perp. I can run these bitches indefinitely.

And how is it bad? Because we got a lousy -2 BP delay for 40 geodes. It would be different if there was something useful like "element affinity: avatar attack bonus" or "element affinity: avatar haste +5%", but giving us more of something that doesn't help us is ridiculous. I get MP back from my avatars and have free spirits as well, but if I upgrade something I want to get an actual upgrade, not a placeholder for the next upgrade. As it stands, this next trial is just buy one upgrade for the price of two.

Needing 15 rare items for the last elemental path weapon trial sucks, but it's nowhere near as bad as the 50 for NQ/20 for +1 rare/ex items needed to upgrade AF2s. Having to do 20-50 dynamis runs per armor piece is ridiculous.

Who decided that all these new upgrade "."s needed to be rare?!

Shit I had not read that the dyna upgrades were rare. That's balls. Guess it gives me more of a reason to go for a relic on the side.

They may just be placeholders for the finished thing, I highly doubt SE will make AF2+2 require a minimum of 30 Rare/Ex items per upgrade. Also, if it turns out that AF2+2 requires either the Replacement Body parts or A-F collectibles, the JP sites says that these are nether Rare or Ex. Not that I'd expect the upgrade items for AF2 to be non-Ex.

They may not be. If you look at the shitty Google translate for the new items, the replacement items for Head, Bodies, Hands, Legs, and Feet are not marked Rare or Exclusive.

Needing to do 50 Days of Dynamis runs to upgrade 1 piece to +2 Would be a colossal kick in the dick. It would take longer for you to finish a Relic+2 Set than it would take to complete 2-3 Relic Weapons.

Is there any info on the new magian +4 weapons, like that stat boosts at that point? Or the extra damage, extra attacks on the OAT, OA24, and DA+? Been looking but don't see any.
