Base damage cannot be lower than 97
Per graph, base damage appears to be 97
Weapon: d4
fStr: 8
153 dex (5/5?) = 130 WSC
Total base before fTP: 142
fTP between 0.6830985915493 and 0.6901338028169
Considered as fractions of 1024: between 700 and 706
704/1024 = 88/128 (as indications are that fTP tends to be integer units of /128) = 0.6875
That was my guess as well but I didn't want to say for certain given the lack of a 322 damage hit. It's not a terrible result; comes out similar to Blade: Hi assuming no attack penalty and moderate critrate on Hi if not Shun isn't overcapping cRatio (assuming use of gorget/belt obviously). So now the question is, did they completely remove the attack penalty?
And yeah, test was done with 5/5 merits.
Max damage should be 320, and you got 319, so seems good enough to me.Originally Posted by Nightfyre

Will have to add this to the spreadsheet.
Resolution still appears to have an attack penalty, but it is far more minor than it was previously. Have to do more testing later to verify potency.
Attack Penalty looks to be as low as 5 and as high as 10. I have a shit sample size and no time to expand on it right now, so take from it what you will. Not anywhere near concrete, just a base to work off of.
Yea, I estimated at most 10% as well since it not only was keeping up with Torcleaver on Kaggen, but also doing slightly better, which it should with 100% STR mod vs 60% VIT mod and slightly lower ftp with gorget and belt and earring.
However, I strongly suspect that the accuracy bonus of first hit is carried over to all hits just like the ftp. I rarely ever missing a hit, and against Kaggen, I shouldn't have 95% accuracy with heafoc mitt and ares body (was using ares instead of twilight body to see if I miss more). Under the same theory, all hits should be able to DA or TA instead of the first 2 hits.
I think the accuracy thing if confirmed, can be the decisive factor on which GS WS is the best.
Stupid question, does anyone have a list of which gorgets useable for these new wses?
Shijin Spiral - Flame, Light, Aqua
Exenterator - Breeze, Thunder, Soil
Requiscat - Shadow, Soil
Resolution - Breeze, Thunder, Soil
Ruinator - Snow, Aqua, Breeze
Upheavel - Flame, Light, Shadow
Entropy - Shadow, Soil, Aqua
Stardiver - Shadow, Soil, Light
Blade: Shun - Flame, Light, Thunder
Tachi: Shoha - Breeze, Thunder, Shadow
Realmrazer - Flame, Light, Thunder
Shattersoul - Shadow, Soil, Snow
Apex Arrow - Breeze, Thunder, Light
Last Stand - Fire, Light, Aqua
As a follow-up to that, which WS have the damage increased on all hits with gorget/belt?
Star wars mmo/Guild wars 2/ Diabolo 3 and god knows how many epic tier MMOs are coming and SE use the same old stupid formula
Give people the best WS with those 1million merit point ws, who gives a shit about emp, give those best weapon DMG/Delay ratio with aftermath then they should be happy and stfu, they can still use the newer WS.
The different between an emp and none emp DD is huge and breaks the lolbalance that SE talk about all the time and no not everyone wants to get an emp because they rather do fun things over killing the same shit again and again.
If the newer ws are not the "best" people wont bother to get them fully merited and they shouldn't unless they were insane
