For Desperate Blows, check that the feet don't make it activate without Last Resort up. I highly doubt it but worth a try.

you read my mind. Annoying bit is that if the whole "doesn't decrease TP/hit" is true, pinning down exactly what amount of delay reduction they have will be outside of my current devices.

Tested out sam af body+2. First test I used usukane body, with a soboro fighting Tundra Tigers @ Fauregandi OP. STR 93+94 (/blm, no DA in gear). Also, used Gekko @ 300% for all ws's

Usu body:
high: 1331
low: 1005
avg: 1147 (15 WS's)

STR 93+95 for this sample*

avg: 1204 (15 WS's)

I know it's a small, small sample size, but is that a 4-5% increase on overwhelm? 5/5 merits into the category

For the Warrior's charge on relics pants +2.. as crappy as it was would it be, could increase the duration from 1 min to 1:20 before it wears off?

I did some very crude VS work on the test server to at least get some taste for the nerf. I was fighting Pil:
-Impetus/boost not used on any WS's/throughout testing (Impetus up would have been pretty much pointless since I could only survive for 60 seconds with fanatic's and was barely auto-attacking the whole time anyway).
-MNK99/SAM49
-Champion's/Stalwarts/Braver's Tonics all used, TP between 100-115 for all WS's.

I have only done maybe 16-20 Pils total on the normal server over the past week or two, and sadly have not parsed myself on any of them. From memory, and as I am sure many others can attest--the lowest smites I ever saw were ~1150, and my highest on Pil was 3098. The most common numbers I recall seeing were the 1300-2700 range, with 1300-1999 comprising maybe 50% of the WS's, another 40% in the 2000-3000 range, and then 10% either below 1300 or above 3000. Again, I'm obviously just going off of memory on the numbers without the nerf present-and these numbers also include impetus/full DD drinks applied, and other times with no impetus/DD drinks applied.

Using that exact same gear set, I tossed out a couple of spirals for shiz, which ended up being 703, 764, 813, and 870. Obviously this is far from anywhere near an ideal Shijin set. I'm wondering if an ideal set + the increased base dmg from spharai could pull Shijin up to ~1300, or possibly even more.

What's Pil? is that in or out of abyssea and what kinda numbers were you getting on him before?

1500 average with a good looking set seems a lot lower, but I never parsed for WS averages.

Guy testing smite was /sam and using acc food, so he may just be lacking a lot of atk. 1500 average sounds reasonable with low atk.

While I have not tested it personally, a friend said that it increases the amount it heals. Normally bene only heals 2.5x the WHMs HP.

Koga Tekko +2, I casted 70 Utsusemis and saved 27. Small sample size and all that, but it looks to me the proc rate is about the same, so then I tested Futae.

The augment allows NTE to apply to Futae.

Since it activated for Futae, it was for both tools that would have been consumed or just one?

Well they only lowered VS crit rate so really unless you get a decent sample just dmgs don't say much. Though did we have all the crit rates for it tested before to begin with?

I think most people take PUP over MNK anyways to VW since it can cover more procs.
