I agree. The demand for Alex is there, if there is a price drop i don't expect it to be a huge one.

Because there was many ppl w/o LSs that started to upg relic when it was going more and more realistic. Coins/gils farm was only cockblock for relics back in time. Mythics on the other hand have still many tasks that are cockblocks for those casual players who could actually buy Alex.

Ofc there are still ppl that will start to buy Alex and wont even think if they actually can complete everything else.

Overall tho for many ppl those other requirements beside Alex will be enough to not start a mythic.

If you can find 2 or more other people with the same goal who will stick to it then the other requirements won't be half as bad. But as it stands given how unpopular mythics are, getting 2 people to help you do all those assaults and nyzul runs is a struggle.

A lot of the 'old-school' players have enough ichor lying around for eyepatch and probably half or more of the nyzul token requirement already done.

Currency prices ultimately dropped, though. An initial increase is to be expected because the increase in demand due to a misunderstanding of temporary affordability causes a lot of people to buy out currency - currency they later resell. Market value then drops further due to a natural increase in supply, and the trend sort of repeats itself until it stabilizes.

What content? The're only adding Nyzul 2.0 There's no new quests/missions planned. No mention of Salvage update. No hint if they plan on new ISNMs. No word on ZNM update either. I expect people to blow their tags and not come back in WG for a week. That's not rejuvenation, that's a new wrapper for a shit sandwich.

I'd tell you how many people I know that are 30000 Alexandrite and some tokens away from a Mythic, but it's more than 10 and I don't want to take off my shoes. This change to Nyzul Isle gives both Alexandrite and Tokens, which will give those people more incentive to do a mythic.

If you recall, currency supply went WAY up after the Dynamis patch, but demand increased even more. Prices have slowly dropped over the last few months, but they didn't really take a big hit on Lakshmi until AF2+2 came out (which makes sense).

Also, they said that they are updating content approximately in the same order it was originally released. Sky/Kings are done, Sea got ignored, and now they are moving on to ToAU (NI, Pankration, more to come).

Jeuno T6 was not Chapter IV it was Chapter 3

Chapter IV + Chapter IV (Continued) not released yet so it's probably Zilart T4/5/6 and new Final Voidwatch fights bosses or something Chapter VI continued

Really, all I'm hoping for out of this update is increased supply (so I can buy in stacks, rather than 15 here, 25 there) and a chance to get relevant gear while finishing off the 60k tokens I still need.

Jeuno T6 was not Chapter IV it was Chapter 3

Chapter IV + Chapter IV (Continued) not released yet so it's probably Zilart T4/5/6

Zilart T4/5/6 won't be Zilart at all (it might still be the same Ashen abyssite but it won't be Zilart regions); there aren't any Zilart regions which were untouched by the first three tiers. Gilgamesh gives a very obvious indication that something's going down in ToAU areas in the last Zilart quest cutscene, so I'm guessing we'll be headed there unless they are tossing red herring references into CSes to troll us. Suppose we'll find out soon enough.
