Dicked around in Nyzul Isle just now with Plisken (of Lakshmi).

Alexandrite notes:
* Normal NMs (from outside NI) drop single Alexandrites at a decent rate with TH3 from Falcorr.
* The one Boss we killed (Medusa) dropped a Cotton Pouch with Falcorr TH3.
Based on this, if you do enough floors to kill one boss and one boss, I'd estimate you'll average about 15-16 Alexandrite per tag as a group. Where do Linens come from? What are higher floors like? How do we get to higher floors? I'm not sure. If all you're doing is entering and spamming up to floor 20 though, you aren't going to get much Alex. Still, some is more than none.

Other notes:
* The normal monsters in here are EP/DC and about as strong relative to us as NI monsters were at 75.
* There is a Qiqirn THF floor leader that has ungodly evasion.
* Choosing ??? Floor pushes you up 3-8 levels, in our experience. The highest we got duo in 30 minutes was Floor 35.
* We chose "Exit" after the boss and it claimed that my data was saved (I took us in) but not Plisken's. It didn't give any options other than floor 1 the next time we went back, though, and the NPC says our runic disks have credit for both types of NI floor 100 (normal and uncharted). By the way, I guess that confirms 100 floors in new NI.
* Noble Mold exists in the 20-40 block, at least. He'll make it rain. He also casts Water V and uses Dark Spore for 1005 damage.
* The usual characters (Chariots, Qiqirn, Poroggo, Flayers, etc.) all seem to have returned for Uncharted.
* Uncharted NI tells you the floor objective every time you warp up, instead of making you click the pillar and check. Nice.
* Uncharted NI rewards jack shit for tokens, but eats tokens like delicious candy. 3900 for all temps, 550 reward for going to floor 20 and killing the boss. We probably couldn't have killed the boss without temps, but we were a duo. I Fanatic's zerged it using temps to take it from 90% to dead.

20 Shadow Marrow for Relic Weapons
10 Mulcibar's Scoria for Mythic Weapons
60 Riftdross/cinder for Empyrean Weapons

The trials are sequential. Getting this information through a JP connection. As far as I know they didn't bother updating the NA client with them.

I assume that's Umbral Marrow and it's just because you had to translate yeah? 20 ADL kills per Relic is a bit of a kick in the crotch but could have been far worse I suppose.

What's the other item called (the one that comes from Arch)? Seems weird that mythic and empyrean are the same item for Afterglow trial but Relic isn't.

Edit: Yeah, like Jem said, I was gonna suggest it was a bad translation (Umbral means of shadows).

20 NQ DL drops would be a joke, could do that in one run with an alliance if most of the pops were pre-farmed.

Should have made it 20 ADL kills (which is still pretty far up there), because theres still absolutely no basis of "hey lets team up to upgrade our relics" like it was the previous 8 trials, its a greedy shitfest going on that you still need a full alliance of friends for a minimum of 40 hours over a period of 3 weeks for ONE persons weapon. Good job SE, you've accomplished nothing.

That ADL trial is still a punch in the dick considering ADL only drops one marrow (unless this was changed?) and you need a good amount of people to participate to beat it.

10 PWs is pretty much a dickpunch too, though no one cares because no one has Mythics. That's essentially a month worth of trading 1000 zeni in every window. I have been told that pictures are going to yield more zeni per picture after the next version update though, so maybe it'll be easier than that.

Well, if the change was made after we voiced displeasure on the forums, lets try it again? I can cope with 20 ADL kills, not drops, I'm sure others are too,, it is the final upgrade afterall. But between me and the few friends I do have left in FFXI, we have 2 shields, 1 bow, 1 dagger, 2 horns (3 of which are on me lol)...its still going to take ~1 month to upgrade one persons weapon, 6 weapons = 6 months. ADL is never a sure kill either, since its an entirely luck based fight.

So, what do you think would be a reasonable price to bazaar these items now that we know how many are needed?

PW item would probably run about 10 mil based on all the work to get it (though up untill PW it can be duoed easy), ADL drop I think was expected to run about 10 mil cuz you really need 18 people to kill it, and would have to justify all the coins/forgottens you're not getting now.

If ADL wasn't such a luckfest, I'd see 20 as reasonable but afaik you can only hammer out one Arch per run yea?
