I'm hoping it's going to be a common voidwatch drop that's sellable. The price is going to be very high. Think of how many level 90 Empyreans there are sitting around. Even if 6 dropped per character that does Voidwatch and you do Voidwatch with a full alliance, it would still take 15 NMs to complete one 90->95 Empyrean. How much would you have to pay an alliance per person to get them to fight 15 NMs?

Too much.

On the other hand take 15 pl with 90 that want to upgrade. 30 days of 7 VW a day and you have 15 x 95.

Depending how hard they are to get (if it's voidwatch and they count towards your 6-item limit), I'd be unsurprised if the price settles around 100k per metal. I'm overextended buying Alexandrite at the moment and didn't see this coming, so I won't be getting 95 Twashtar for a long time.

Probably. We speculating too much tho. We have no idea where and in what quantity they will drop and how hard it will be. For example let's say they will come from VW but you will be able to get lower number from lower tiers and higher numbers from higher tiers. That gives any opportunity to actually lowman it in longer time w/o spending tons of gils. Like I said tho we speculating too much ^^

OAT trials seemed to have no increase in OAT/2-3/DA, only reductions in augmented delay and increased DMG ratings. Only checked swords/katana, however.

OAT = 150 Silver Mirrors
2-3 = 700 Aquan Mobs
DA = 200 Silver Mirrors

Currently no new trials for WoE weapons to +3.

It would probably make sense if they ideally want to have all 3 legendary sets be of equivalent difficulty by lv99.
..in which case Mythics will get progressively much easier (like what it appears to be) and so will relics..

Hopefully the strength of the 3 legendary sets will be comparable at 99. Some will no doubt win others in effectiveness but it should be a varied mix amongst all 3 sets.

...but difficulty wise, no matter how you look at it.. someone pursuing an Empyrean weapon will have access to the weapon much earlier on (in terms of effort) and can start to make use of it to help them in what they do. Mythics don't have that even for a Lv75 (empty Mythic doesnt really count, they suck and you don't exactly spend much time in that stage).. Relics can kinda fall back on Stage 4s in a way, but also require less overall effort than a Mythic anywayz

A pouch containing a sheet of heavy metal.

If it works similar to Alaxandrite pouches, getting 1500 might not be -that- terrible. Unless it literally contains just 1 :-/

I'm also trying to decide whether to keep buying Alex or start hoarding gil for metal plates. Most Empyrean owners are going to shit a brick at the idea of a 100mil+ upgrade to their weapons, so I don't know how long that will last after the rage threads on the official forums start. Then again, Mythics still cost 30k Alexandrite...

Oh wow, if there are pouches it may not be so bad. I'll just hoard gil and wait it out.

Yes before someone flames me, I am aware how hard mythic is (helping 2 friends getting it, so I do know the pain..), but if all they want is 3 bosses, might as well not set any requisite..

As others have said, this is SE's way of "Balancing" things out. Relics and Mythics took more time to complete but as more trials are introduced their requirements are easier and easier. Emps on the other hand are the complete reverse with the start being easy while the later trials take progressively longer to complete.

Also extra info it does stack to 99, but as people have already guessed you can bazaar it and it isn't rare/ex. It wouldn't be so bad if you could buy with Cruor, or if Voidwatch gave global alliance currency for defeating Voidwatch NM's that are traded for plates but it's really hard to say now.
