He obviously want stuff like +20% BP earring that is worth 5 days of 1h casual playing or ring with Avatar: En-drain for 300dmg 100% of the time (obviously not from sux to play Legion!)
Just dont feed the troll
I believe the same item was found in the JP dats months ago, which actually said 'Increases "Blood Pact" damage +5%' or something. It beats out ACP earrings, so it's definatly worth going for.
Level 99 Death Penalty gets Quick Draw Damage +60%. They either ninja-buffed the earlier stages or I didn't actually know what they were. Either way, everything is updated on bgwiki now.
They must have ninja boosted it, as I got 45% from my test when they first allowed us to get 99 legendary weaps.
I'm wondering how many of them got ninja-buffs/nerfs. Unless I was high for all of my previous testing, they changed how Yagrush works too.
It makes me wish I'd done a few Steps with Terpsi 99 to test it before I logged. D:
Man, you're just a developer's nightmare. First you declare there is nothing you want from the event. Then you condemn the event for having something you might want, but you're going to pass because you predict it will be too hard to get. If I were a dev, I wouldn't know whether to cry or laugh. Or throw myself out the window!
Or completely ignore people like that and go about your business
Wanted to post again regarding Pankration before anyone goes and tries to train an Antlion - I forgot to state that it's the Pit Antlion rather than a regular Antlion that should be used. Pit Antlions are the ones that hide in the ground before attacking (using Pit Ambush ability). Those are good against Chigoes as they usually stun them + wipe all the shadows (if any) after emerging from the ground.
So to anyone who read my previous post, get a Pit Antlion instead of a regular Antlion (hopefully no one used up time to train only a regular Antlion yet >.>).
Hmm, talking about the Pit Antlion is making me miss FFXI (Pankration was kind of entertaining at times).
Oh the dolls can be pretty good against defensive monsters or at least were when I last did it. They ready the sleep move other guy runs away gets slept facing away from you and bam. And by bam I mean it looked like a SA hit. Like 0 dmg melee hits going to a few hundred
Oh, the whole Divine Benison thing. It used to be inseparable from Fast Cast as far as I could tell, but now it seems different somehow. Also, they stripped Yagrush 99 of it's "Divine Benison IV" when they made the change.
Excuse me what? Where the hell did I say that? Way to put words into my mouth. I'm simply saying that given the track record of SE and their current design decisions, I wouldn't be surprised if this earring requires quite a large time investment ala Voidwatch AND comes with a built in penalty ALREADY ON THE EARRING for a boost that logically won't be any more than 1 or 2 because "Balance".
Guess what? I am a dev myself. And I know when a fellow dev is designing out his ass. I've been following what people are saying about the event, as well as the quality of the rewards, and I'm not impressed. Likewise, way to show that you have no idea what shit SMN has to put up with. Do you know when we got our first passable second ring? Only about a year ago. While melee are getting haste and mages are getting MAB bonuses, SMN gets 4 SMN skill. That's it.
Summoner is a shit job with piss-poor implementation that can really only be fixed by throwing it out and rebuilding it from the ground up. It's really not worthwhile to pick at the minor issues when the job itself is so fucked.
Way to introduce an argument (and an item slot) that has no relation to anything I posted. I'm a career SMN myself, so I know very well that before Fervor Ring, we basically had Diverter's Ring, Conjurer's Ring or MP rings to choose from. Doesn't rebut the point that you condemned the event and its gear on nothing more than "This piece is decent but I predict before doing it that it will be too hard to get so the event is worthless."
Kinda late, but that untranslated knife is triple attack +5%.
Legion Knife 2
D37 Delay150 Triple attack+5%
Lv99 THF, BRD, DNC
I don't understand how summoner is a shitty job. I still don't understand how its bad. Can somebody explain to me why is bad? I don't see how its bad >_>.
Avatars provide such absolute shit damage compared to anything else in the game. The utility provided by SMN is almost exclusively used for perfect defense. Earthen armor is cool sure, but I can't think of a single fight that I have done that actually requires it.
The core problem is the fact that the BP timer correlates to the 25% gear haste cap...except melee and mages can surpass the 25% gear haste cap via other methods (Melee: magic haste & gear haste, Mages: Magic Haste & Fast Cast), whereas BP does not have that luxury.
as it stands right now, all you need to cap BP timer is -15, because of the 25% gear haste cap. Yet, theres a metric ton of -BP gear:
staves -12
head: AF2 -3, Accord Hat -4, AF2+2 -5
Ear: Caller's Ear -1
Body: YYR -5, AF2+2 -6
Hands: AF2 -2, AF2+2 -4
Back: Tiresias -3
Legs: AF2 -2, AF2+2 -4
Feet: AF2 -2, AF2+2 -4
Not including the AF2+2, which on its own greatly exceeds BP cap, you still have -30 in BP gear, of which only 15 is available.
I wouldnt say smn damage sucks, BP's on their own do pretty good damage. The problem is in the time you summon the avatar, assault, and do the BP, a standard melee has already WSed once and threw in some melee damage. by the time you release the avatar and your BP timer is up, that melee has already probably WSed 1 or 2 more times.
