Oh the gil that shall be made...I will love Voidwatch that much more now if the plates come from there. I'm almost giddy with this speculation
Do you think people will pay that much for a such a small sidegrade?
Any news on the perpetuation staves? Can't check the teset server till tomorrow >.>
Yeah but that was then this is now. Before people knew it wasn't going to be outdated anytime soon or forever. Now people know there is going to be some new shiny just on the horizon. Not to mention more gear/lvls/spells/traits etc all making farming for it much easier. I mean look how easy 85 empyreans are to farm now. Now imagine doing them as they came out...
I'm sure some will pay. I mean look at perle gear going for 1 mil each. But idk about alot of people being that stupid especially after things like that happening over and over the last couple of years
I'm sitting on money.... but I'd like a relic. Or another empyrean or 4. Well I'd like a mythic too but really don't feel like getting all that ichor and tokens and redoing assaults... The lameness of lvl 95 trial just makes me not care about getting them to 90 even more lol.
There is only one more cap raise after this and the weapons are starting to look complete. Alot of people are going to want to upgrade just for the sake of being ready for whatever the 99 trial happens to be.
It's pretty obvious SE is trying to limit how many Emps reach 99 given the current Kannagi fever. Some will stop at 90 but still more will be willing to empty their wallets for the upgrades.
All this speculating has no sense. They can be super hard to get and only drop from top tier with 1% chance for pouch or they can drop in low numbers from every tier regularly and ppl will be able to complete one empy in 1 month just from shout runs. Just drop it and start speculating about the items we are getting for sure. I want to know if I missed some good onesChina body seems to be only game braking thing right?
Eqypt body. 15% cure potency and -15% cure cast time for alot of jobs that get neither of either in that slot (like everyone but whm and even then whm doesn't get -cure cast time and has a hard time getting that much potency), fast cast ring for all jobs, cure potency back for non whms again, crafting skill necks might be interesting on some synths idk how many good crafts are barely not T1 though.
Tp stealing swd might be interesting for blu given they already can help take tp away from mobs. That shell/pro earring might be interesting too depending on what it does.
Also 18% movement speed boots for THF and RNG.
In terms of "Game Breaking", I really would agree that the "china" body is the most broken thing ever. Any job that can wear it, particularly WAR, will be able to gain tremendous TP with that body piece. Assuming there's no cap to what it can give, we're looking at 28TP or more from anything that hits for 200 and above, and that's just from the conversion on the body piece. Add in Retaliation and the natural 2-3 TP from being hit...
Question I have is: Has anyone actually played around with the new Voidwatch mobs in groups to get some perspective into how tough these mobs are overall? Are we talking simply Voidwatch ep. I with new toys to collect or will these mobs all be significantly more difficult than the last batch.
The combined forces of BG should be answering these questions!
Quite a few posts in this thread (especially by Rocl) detailing actual attempts with fight information:
http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/106...rver-Findings/
Sounds like in general, the "tough" fights are tougher than current Voidwatch. Plus, all of the Zilart fights spawn with adds (2-5 adds, I think, depending on the fight).
I popped the mantis solo myself just for kicks and managed to survive a while just running it around as it swung blindly like an Iron Giant.
Least til it projectile puked on me. Yeah..
Would be nice for some of the big names on BG to team up and give the system a real test though. Most of the attempts have just been lowmans from what ive read.
I've been having problems getting test client to run (crashes every time, past when you click play on test server, after POL closes and FFXI window opens), so while I'd like to try a couple fights, I can't, at least not until I figure out what the issue is. Also, I can't really imagine spending so much time going through and figuring out detailed strategies for all the fights with one group of people and then having to do it all over again with another group on my actual server.
