Not to sound like a negative nancy, how much of a workable strat can there be on a luck based fight? pop PD and maximize DPS to kill as many clones as possible and hope you get the real one early.

The last time we wiped to Arch DL (90 cap when he first came out) he had 4 clones up at one time. Its not just 1 up, split into 2, kill one split into 2. That bastard can clone multiple times.

Luckily out of the 20+ Relics we've had in the LS, I have the only 2 active, but it still won't be fun to convince people to stop doing their emps, VW, coin farming to come help me for 10hrs or so.

60 dross isn't as easy to get as you may think, easily the hardest trial. ADL is the easiest if it's just 5 kills. PW would be second easiest.
Been shouting for dross for days, no one sells it, and any cheap ones are quickly purchased for resale. Doesn't help when your LS gets them and won't even give/sell them to you either.

Thats because you are a week or two late. All the dross/cinder was bought up at any price buy the JP community a week before the NAs even knew of the trials.

On Cerb it went from no one caring and 100s of dross/cinder in bazaars (200kish) to manic shouts and mass buying.

Thats because they got snatched up when the first trial numbers were put out. It doesnt change the fact that rex/alima are regularly farmed content, which means that rift's will be generated by people attempting to get other items. It took you what, two months to get 1500HMP's? Perhaps you should have done what atroeis did and buy them up when they were announced as an upgrade item...?

I have 37 too much now and they went up to around 1M so 37M if I resell.

Considering I bought HMP fast too when they were around 100k, my 90>99 was around 130M. Its now around 250M so yeah that like first time I ended up buying something for cheaper price (last time it was Rune Chopper for 5k) because 99% of the time when I go to AH its exactly the opposite.

2. Glow version is now equivalent of for example: 2x99mythics + 4x99empy + 4x95relic (with enough gils left to sponsor 20ADL paying 17ppl 2M each for 20 runs). Choice would be pretty obvious

I disagree 60 riftdross are far easier to get, hell in 16 ig-alima fights I usually get out 2-3 riftdross and thats not counting the riftdross shell members got in those fights too.

Point is, after they are all bought up, one empy is finished, the rest of us have a very hard time collecting 60 of them. ADL PW very easy to knock out. Not easy to kill 100+ rex/ogres in the same time frame, and they aren't farmed alot on my server. Not everyone even trades stones when we do them in my LS, and not everyone even offers to sell the to me if they even drop.
Didn't think they would be so stupid to use the same friggin item for both trials, so I'm pretty much fucked atm. Saving my gils for mythic gkt instead of paying mega gouged prices for dross, prob will end up finishing mythic 99 before 99 empy hehe. 3 PW will be a joke.

Implying that relic/mythic trial doesnt have the same problem about shared items between stage 1 and 2.

And yet in that 1 month you can all team up to freely pop those alima/rex's at your own convenience and schedule to try for rift items without there being any sense of competition whatsoever whenever you want as long as youve got access to riftstones. You can even shout for fillers, people who may want rift items to sell, people who may want "uselessdaggers/uselessgreatswords/uselessogierbody/almostuselessrubeusbody/almostuselessathosbody", people who still havent gotten alima/rex KI's...people who will get directly rewarded for their time, even if the reward may be ebony logs.

I said that before, and I was met with "HMP doesnt drop from VW3, so cinder/dross wont drop in VW4"...so take that as you will.

Yeah, only way to get dross/cinder is if they drop in the new tiers. They made the drops way too common for ogre and flan, thus alot are finished with them. I don't see many shouts anymore for those guys. Plus those guys aren't that easy, pickups will have hard time. I assure you my ls will complete multilple mythic and relic 99 before I even come close to finishing 99 empy. Of course if I blow millions of gil I could buy them, but not about to spend 60m+ on a 10 dmg upgrade with no other boosts. Dunno why nothing special added to 99s, already blew 120m on 10 more dmg hoping 99 would be uber, but I guess not.
