... that I can gtfo and stop interrupting their event and leader(of the PUG) made an order to everyone close their bazaars(I know this because one of those JPs was normal and spoke english and told me that)....

Really? When i did that they happily sold them all to me, but that was a while ago. Heck i'd even get tells to come buy them.

To be honest, it's a problem with Siren, not the concept. There's a reason why people have anyways complained about Diabolos being backwards when they changed servers.

If people were just as outraged about Metal plates as they were about the 99 cap requirements when it came out, SE might lower the amount of Plates needed (maybe), but not enough fuss was kicked up.

Which i believe is the major problem with WOE weapons now. Nobody does coin or dice tier WOE chambers anymore, it's a terrible system. Emps will be even worse if the higher tiers don't drop, but I don't believe that will be the case. Higher tiered shit drops HMP+Cinders/dross. I will bet next shit will drop cinder/dross and HMP in pouch form.

If you really think anything will drop pouches of cinder/dross you are dreaming. Unless with a chance of Coruscanti.

Things of note:
Arise has been changed from 150 to 300 mp, even though they removed the name and description. Leads one to believe they're still planning on adding it, because why else adjust the mp cost?
Some stuff either changed or shifted around in bastok, or new placeholders. Some quest involving hildolf (maybe synergy update incoming?)
New VW quests in Tavnazia (Lufaise, Misareaux, and... Uleguerand?) and Aht Urghan(Mamook, Arrapago, and Zhayolm). (no monsters added this update at all)
Some ability description changes, and one brand new "."! Hopefully, that's just a placeholder, and not actually a new ability that NA's can't use again.
Merit changes that they described.
Lowered casting times on cursna/monomi/etc

I'm willing to bet money, that you will loose that bet.
I recall people telling me that T3 jeuno drops single plates now, but T4 and above will drop pouches... but what did we get? lol t4 t5 t6 Jeuno don't even drop single plates anymore... just because "tier" is higher doesn't mean it'll have same drops~

yeah i cant imagine there'd be cinders/dross in pouch form though that would be awesome. And yeah tier 6's can drop plates since there's no more magian trials items to drop i'm betting its gonna be cinder/dross and HMPouches

The latest Test Server finding is that the Test Server is currently broken...
Since the update you can't login as the client version now doesn't match what the server wants...
You get "Error code FFXI-3331".

Has anyone been able to actually log onto the Test Server since the latest update?

It think it might be possible to change your client version number and get through, but I think that might look suspicious if I'm the only person on there....

Confirmed, they broke the test server (at least for NAs).

hmm there was an update.. guess ill take a break from XIII-2 to do a little minding

EDIT: no new dat graphic models. some animation added. i think i see a new ixion one, but can't be sure. also see some weird bunch of eyes whirling in a ball thing.. but thats been there for months.
