Yeah apparently there isn't any of the new periapts or anything on the test server, i got nada when talking to the guy in norg.
Also I don't think NPCs were added anywhere to start the new line, so points to more waiting to even pop the new NMs. Stupid new Nyzul NPC only speaks squiggles as well, woulda been nice to see what his dialogue is.

I want to wait and see how exactly the party casting works, I have a fear it will be:

Meteor - Join together with the 5/5 Teal disgraces around you who will hugely gimp your damage.

Here's hoping it will be based on the first person to start casting or something.

Can someone test if Save TP from multiple sources stacks on the test server (assuming the added the nerf)?
Do Miser + Atmacite stack? And Hagakure?

For any of the crafters on test server can you see if there is a new 100k GP item at the guild npc? Was posted in the fishing thread that there is a new 100k item, but Yugl did not see one at the alchemist guild. Trying to figure out how exactly the +10 100>110 or 60>70 skill is going to be obtained, either through a new furniture piece or maybe an item that raises cap then you skill to it, etc.

It would be a kick in the balls and you have to obtain a 100,000 GP item to go from Veteran to Expert. Looks like I better start cooking, if I get maximum GP every day I should have 100,000 GP sometime by the summer. (Sadly, this is barely hyperbole.)

What have you had to spend GP on until this point? Assuming that you've been gathering GP and buying your craft's various key items from the time they were implemented a few years ago, and continued to gather GP after having finished buying all your key items, shouldn't you have a nice stockpile by now? Or did you stop turning in items?

Cooking gp items really suck. And there is little to no point in stockpiling when you have everything already lol. Especially if you were fishing too since for all you know they could add some super awesome thing to the 100 craft you aren't signed up for and lose all those precious gp

Yeah, except I'm sitting on 180k in bonecraft GP from when SE announced they'd be giving us an extra 40 points, only to take it away when the bitches on the original forums whined loud enough. /cry. Seriously though, 100k GP in fishing for a level 100 fisherman should take at most 2-4 weeks depending on what fish come up in the cycle, and most other crafts won't take more than 6 weeks. My heart goes out to all the chefs though... and my cooking mule.

Pretty much this. Cooking GP is a dick and a half, I own every GP item, and I didn't want to lose GP if I switched to a different one.

Today the GP item for veteran is Bataquiche, if I turn in 23 of them I will get 2,800 GP. It requires two sub-synths that are useless if they HQ (go go Chef's Ring), and ingredients for the one sub-synth is from an NPC located in West Ronfaure. While 4 synths will cap my points, it is still a pain in the ass to gather up all of the ingredients for the synths and sub-synths for that few points.

Oh, and the most points you will ever make in a day is 6,720 for Tavnazian Salad, and per day points don't go over 5,000 until Artisan rank. The stuff is cheap to make, but the trade-off is that it takes forever and a half to accumulate points. (If you are able to get them at all with some of the amazingly hard-to-get ingredients.)

Why the hell would you continue building GP if you have *everything*? Waste of time and gil.

Now that you will be able to save GP if you switch crafts, it would be much more appealing to stock up on GP in case they add new furnishings. Sadly, they didn't do this back in a time when they would actually have added new furnishings though.

Guild sells Batagreens btw...

but yeah, why would anyone have arbitrarily stockpiled GP in advance if they had everything? Makes no sense at all.

Not sure if it's safe to pull out the optimism card but, ADLs values were 4x what they were released to be, who is to say that the values on the test server for the KI isn't 4x what it will be on the live server, 25,000GP which sounds a bit more reasonable for players to achieve over grinding ... 1 - 3month(s) worth of GP, more depending on what the item turns out to be.

I don't have all my GP items for fishing, so I still benefit even if the cost is lowered. I don't know if I'd chance it and see if they lower it. For fishing, I can have most of the 100k by the time the update rolls around.

Recently finished collecting all of my Goldsmithing GP items and I was glad to not have to do them anymore. Fortunately, it won't take long to get 100k with Goldsmithing GP items. This is probably just SE's way to stagger the amount of people rushing to 110 on the first day
