    I think it goes up to 150 in the .dats, so yes. They will likely gradually increase it to that in increments of 10 over the next year to year and a half.

    Guess hindsight is 20/20, but now that they've set a precedent, there may be cause now to save up. Unless you'd rather just get your GP when they add new stuff, if you don't care about being one of the first.

    The one gear set I posted was wrong I see. It looked like it went with the white body. Hell, I didn't even see the actual set it went with when I went through the dats. Pretty cool stuff though.

    There are 16 Guild Ranks in the game. Amateur, Recruit, Initiate, Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman, Craftsman, Artisan, Adept, Veteran, Expert, Authority, Luminary, Master, Grandmaster, and Legend. If it stays true to the current pattern, crafts would go up 160. It does seem odd that it would go to 160 instead of 150. Maybe Legend would be at 150 and you have to do something special for it it, like get all GP items/key items/other stuff or something along those lines.

    Great information thanks. Does anyone on the test server have 100k GP? Would be great to know if that KI immediately breaks your cap and your skill is no longer "blue" or it is part of a quest.

    It would help if they gave us a way to get infinite GP like they do with gil and cruor. It seems kind of dumb for them to expect us to test something and not provide the GP.

    This makes me so fucking mad. Have no problems with new content and gear but God fucking damn it, do they need to continue ruining a great game with this unbalancing bullshit? Really? Come on SE. I can remember a time when you got your gear from a variety of different events and over a period of years, it was hardly made obsolete (at least not on a grand scale).

    All the shit you go through to gear your character, and within a year from now, it's all going to drop to the floor like rot. This is so, so sad. These people are so desperate to get subs up, it's pathetic. Before Aby/Lv cap raise, this game was incredible. Now it's gone to complete shit. Absolutely no reason for the barren zones that this game has due to the changes over the last two years. Fuck you SE. Fuck you for ruining an incredible game.

    Before you ask "U Mad?", yes, I'm mad. This really pisses me off reading this. I thought 99 was bad, this is just ridiculous.

    They mentioned that synergy would be "re-envisioned" to a focus on augmenting old gear (Salvage was mentioned, I think, and for some bizarre reason relic gear was, too). Old gear will probably become highly specialized macro gear via specific augments rather than just falling by the wayside.

    I'm pretty excited about the higher craft cap, but... I'd really like it if they'd just release everything all at once. Going 75-80-85-90-95-99 was soooo frustrating. Doing increments of +10 skill over a period of a year or so would lead to a nasty cycle of T0 (and incredibly expensive) > T1 > T2 (cheap!). I know big price tags aren't the obstacle that they once were, but I still regret spending 10,000,000 gil on stuff that I know is going to be 4,000,000 gil 4 months later.

    I'm hoping the 100k Key item simply gives you +10 skill. That saves them the trouble of adding skillup recipes and saves us the trouble of skilling up.

    Would it then take two 100k key items, one for your 100 -> 110 skill, and the other for your 60 -> 70 skill? Or, I suppose, they could just let you skill up into the 70 cap for your subs, which means you'll still have plenty of 'trouble' to worry about.

    If this were true then what if a person deleveled the craft? Would the ki remain, giving 10 skill?

    I think it'll break the cap and allow skilling up further but not give any skill.

    Not sure where to post this but in any case, my LS did PWx2 last night and noticed a few things.

    1) when he does astral flow, each person only eats one AF rather than getting hit with multiples for some reason. One player survived AF cuz he was only hit with Judgement Bolt for 800ish. The WHM which was standing right next to PW when he flowed survived with full HP and took 0 damage from Tidal Wave cuz he used Sancrocity before hand. Confirmed on the second fight he took 0 damage from AF once again with Sancrocity.

    Perhaps Sancrocity adds a Migawari/Earthen Armor/Scherzo effect for magic damage where it annuls severe magic damage too? Also we were able to stop the Lamps from astral flowing by having a SMN use Shocksquall when he summoned them so the only AF we ate was PW's. Discuss?

    Definitely not true. I did PW last week, and got hit with two AF, each for 868 damage and then died (as I wasn't in one of the parties with PD), so there could have been more going off on me.

    It's possible that the lamps will AF on different targets, and I had two+ on me, and your WHM only had one on them/near them.

    We did PW at the weekend and I definitely got levelled with more than 1 Astral Flow because I remember checking back in the log afterwards to see what a few WS'es did and having to skip past all the AF's/damage.

    Although in all honesty the most annoying part is the crippling lag caused by all the fucking avatars and not the damage.

    Isn't the mechanic of PW AF just that each player has to be hit by at least one, or the lot of them will come and find you to do so? I'd imagine you were just in range of the single AF, which met the requirements for it to leave you alone afterward.

    And your WHM probably just had a 1/4 or full resist. Sancro + SS + traits + resist doesn't make a 0 that surprising.
