Quite impressed with most of those weapons, Sure the Damage:201 Daggers make me rage-face, But the Effects on them are pretty awesome... Probably Jambiya types too

I load up the JP dats, confirm there are descriptions. I load up the French one, and alt tab while it loads. I go back in, and I guess I forgot what I was doing, because I thought I was looking at english, since, you know, VIT/MND/etcstates, DEF, are the same in both english and french, and I'm like, SHIT, Did I fuck up on my data mining?

Then I realized. Oh. I'm looking at the french descriptions.

And that is some pretty jive-ass shit. (Although we could check the mantis description on those armors against the French.) It's not like NA players are the only ones dat mining, that is some massive contempt for their player base.

One note, though, this is using the same "this is the shit that was changed" list from the english version, as I don't have an older french output to use as a comparison. So anything that wasn't changed at all in english wont be picked up :/

I have a terrible feeling about those +1 r/e crafted items. I see super rare drops on the base item and then a terribly difficult elemental balance and a crap shoot HQ chance. If it was the standard +1 to stats I wouldn't care much but the difference between NQ/+1 is pretty big.

They've done this ever since the test server came out. New items come out, every language except English has descriptions. New abilities come out, everyone except NA's have descriptions, or in that case, ABILITY NAMES! (which caused them to be unusable on NA client)

On the bright side, the weapons actually are JP ONRY this time around. No descriptions on either French or German.

With the new nyzul gear giving haste/store tp on legs and head could drop Goading in favor of the haste+8% belt. The 3% extra on belt and 1% extra on head means I can drop Brego's in favor of AF3 hands and the 6 store tp and 6 haste on legs means i can drop rose strap and blitz ring.

For WAR you just need NQ belt and you can change Zelus Tiara to Nyzul head for slightly better acc att and true haste cap in equip.

Pretty sure that has pretty cool implications for DRG. At the very least, it lets you equip something other than a Blitz Ring in your ideal set.
