Enmity on Meteor, it used to be just the person making the final cast would get all the Enmity, now each BLM gets a small amount but the fool that casts lasts gets a higher amount, also on certain NMs they will build a resistance over time(cause you're gonna be spamming a 10min spell) the more times its used.
No client side update, so nothing to .dat mine.
I play on PS3 for FF11, and I had to download an extra 1 GB worth of memory for the games partition. I found that kind of suspious off the bat. I thought they would annouce a new expansion at vanafest too. PS2 games are discontinued but they can sell a full on expansion through the playonline like they did with the abyssea add-ons i'm sure. Plus I seen a commercial for FF11 on on a PS3 commercial with that Kevin Butler guy (whatever that guys name is) and it showed an HD version of FF11 with a SAM doing VW in ugg temple. The graphics were clean as hell, was not PS2 or PC version of the game.

Here's the guy's youtube account. Which video are you talking about?
There's nothing to indicate that wouldn't be PC video. Also, no VW in that one.
Probably talking about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qdl7PRyLxg
Edit: Hng, should've refreshed before I posted sorry.![]()
I checked Julian's dat mine of the French descriptions and, sadly, the BLM/SCH feet that have "mantis" stats come up mumbo-jumbo.
At least I can confirm the SMN pants stats are what was said before (one of them enhances avatar attack and blood pacts, the other one adds avatar regen and enhances blood pacts).
In case anyone was wondering, here are the actual armors that are associated with each set -- the new models are for the five cursed sets (NQ/HQ look the same, I just copied the HQ stats below):

These are the crystal heads... has Spira found the actual models of these? I haven't seen. The melee one looks like it might be particularly cool.

Edit: nvm, it was in his 2/24 mine http://wilddragonchase.blogspot.com/...-24022012.html
Hmm, SMN pants might be worth swaping if they aren't a pain in the ass to get and have actually good bonuses.
I think he is trying to say that the -75HP shouldn't matter.
Was this build in resistance like a straight the more you cast it or casting frequently? Since most things that build resistance tend not to if you cast infrequently or even lose the gained resistance if you hold off for awhile...
My guess is if you use it at the 10 min you shouldn't have a problem but cor abuse maybe
forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/17045-Meteor?p=294033#post294033I’d like to give some follow-up info on the cumulative resistance for Meteor.
• Cumulative Resistance Effect and Duration Time
The damage reduction effect from the cumulative resistance peaks directly after Meteor hits and then gradually tapers off. The effect disappears after 5 minutes.
When casting Meteor with a party of 6 people every time you can use Elemental Seal, you will not be affected by cumulative resistance at all.
• Necessity for Cumulative Resistance
As many of you who are testing out the spell on the test server know, casting Meteor with 6 people deals a high amount of damage compared to other elemental magic spells, and since it is non-elemental, you can expect it to deal a steady amount of large damage without elemental resistances at all.
This is the attractiveness of Meteor and lends itself to being used as a trump card of sorts.
On the other hand, we feel that there shouldn’t be extreme circumstances where you can clear every bit of content only by casting Meteor.
This is one of the reasons for the necessity of Elemental Seal, but this can be avoided by using abilities and medicines, so in order to limit chain casting of Meteor we decided to implement the cumulative resistance safeguard as a result of looking into how we can prevent this.
In other words, we felt it necessary to prevent strategies that focus on alliances using Meteor at once or other strategies that rely on medicines and abilities to allow for continuous use of Meteor.
