We need more weapons like FFXIV where it looks normal then when you enter combat it mega-zoid morphs into a giant weapon of doom with lava and planets coming out.
I like to see them adding new mobs though, cmon new expansion!

Yup. That be a mole. My vote is for ultra super duper new 18-man KCNMs in Bearclaw Pinnacle and Boneyard Gully, baby land king KSNM 99 style.
Might also just be more random side-tier (non-story related) Voidwatch battles like Ig-Alima and Botulus Rex. Perhaps it's where the glowing katana and H2H will be from. Would be my guess anyway. Just because Voidwatch is "finished" doesn't mean they can't add a couple battles here and there... would be nice to keep some level of interest (and keep the HMP/riftdross/cinder supply up).
oops. i guess its more of a mole than a sloth..
overall just impressed at how many new unique boss-tier mobs theyve been adding of late. just from Voidwatch.. naraka, mantid, harpeia, gallu, botulus, belladonna, pteraketos and provenance watcher...
i think the new battles in CoP BCs seems like a possibility.. the Yeti is pretty icy and the mole earthy.. and you could probably have existing monsters for other BCs out there.. maybe HKCBCs?
anyway.. for the 2 new mobs.. the mole seems to have stances.. like falling asleep and sitting down.. it also has motion for digging for stuff and eating a snack..
the yeti doesn't have special motions listed..
you can see for yourself anyway..
Mole reminds me of the summon spirit from Tales games. lol
That mole is so jiggly...
I'm still surprised ppl still view Winning Streak as "laziness"....
Considering I almost ways pop VW with 2x No.11, lucky number or No.10 on pt members, and rotate buff for different ppl/pt a lot, but not going to have enough time to keep reroll for another good number after pop, Winning Streak gives way better buff to everyone than other merit in general even before G2 recast update.
The little pack thing and different non-combat looking animations really makes me think it's some type of new neutral beastmen faction... here's to hoping :C
NEW ABYSSEA ZONES
Realtively certain that they only have one type of model, yes. They remind me a lot of Qiqirn.
The only things that change for Qiqirn models are their weapon types, and some Qiqirn NMs have more regal attire and a slightly different skin tone.
Appearance wise, Qiqirn have 2 dat models used for battle. One normal one and a reskin for NMs. I do believe they also have an NPC model for ingame cutscenes and actions/emotes.. but that one is only for the basic model.
In this case here, the 2 models I showed are battle models. so those actions you see on the mole are more likely a part of battle than anything.
if anything I do think the mole was designed with the qiqirn in mind seeing as they're both like.. land mammals that burrow and all. the pouch, to me, is indicative that its beastman rather than just a feral monster.

all i know is 5 to 1 says bring your eye drops. moles = dirt throwing = blindness
I really wouldn't mind this, tbh. Abyssea was the best thing they implimented in a lot of years.NEW ABYSSEA ZONES
Totally saw the "me gusta" face on the mole around the :40 mark.
i think any brand new gameplay system which is deep enough to not be figured out in 3 days would do that for me.
original nyzul was fun because people didn't know what to expect the higher they climbed initially. salvage was pretty complex too, tho I was never part of that crowd.
i'd say the one i was most into was sea when they were still figuring out what goes where...
right now i'd be pretty psyched if the new dungeon crawl thing is like a hybrid of salvage, limbus and sky
If Phorcys and Thaumas gear came from Legion people might give two shits about it lol.
it could be.
still, i like a system that isn't totally about fighting tho.. and requires some exploring, gathering, or gimmicks like procs.
iow less einherjar and more limbus/nyzul... but not like it matters cos i don't care for the event (too costly / possible rewards don't seem worth the cost / no one else to do it with). i think something like this coulda worked when larger HNMLS were still dominant
