I think I used the last set of mobs from the test server for the mobs, and for everything else the last major update. If there have been any test server updates before today, they're also included here. Also might have some old stuff from the update since my files were a bit of a mess. The major update/first following test server update always fucks me up a little bit. Should be standardized for the next update, at least, though.

Also. It looks like the old "status description" dat has changed format, it might hold info about status icons now or something. Dunno. Same with the "magic/ability info" dat. Just from looking at the hexdump it doesn't look like it's a different file now, but polutils refuses to read it, guess they changed the format and it's unreadable now. Seeing as I don't play ffxi anymore, I don't really care much to look into this or try to fix it, so just posting it as an fyi

Apollyon "Area 1" is listed as "CS Apollyon (Lv. 99)" in-game.

x10 Apollyon Demon (Regular size, grouped closely together, but don't appear to link to each other)
x1 Apollyon Demon (Slightly larger, presumably the boss)

The lesser mobs appeared to be DRKs, PLDs, and RDMs. They use their respective 2-hours.
Didn't bother finishing the floor, so got no info on the boss yet.

Edit: Apollyon Taurus x11 and Apollyon Ahriman x11 are in the NW and NE corners of the zone respectively. The Demons are on the South side.

Also, once that JP guy does his dat mine, I'll let you know if there's anything there that isn't in the NA version yet. Wouldn't be surprised, lulz.

Looks like an in-game event, likely tied to Vanafest. I'm not sure about the crafting ones, but the moogle crafter and new NPCs in Windurst/Sandy/Bastok makes me think it's also some kind of in-game event.

I would guess that the Apollyon Area 1 zone has three levels. 10 NQ mobs + 1 boss. Demons -> Tauri -> Ahrimans (SMN boss)
Temenos Area 1 appears to just be 11 Euvhi at the moment, which either means they are hard or SE only got around to adding the first floor.

IDK if the dummy NPCs in NI already exist in game or not, but I think I remember that they do.

Anyone notice if the Limbus timer was updated yet on test server? I know they were considering changing it, I was hoping 1/day (1/3days would suck since you need to farm metal chips/ABCs).

They seem to be new compared to my NI(regular) and old NI(last test update before regular update)

Just out of curiosity, if I were to upload an archive that had every zone's mob list in it, would people find that useful? For example, it would have a Nyzul Isle.txt which has all of the above info, etc, except for every zone in the game >.> it's only 2MB or so of data

Fought a few of the Ahrimans in the NE corner - a WHM (casts Firaga III and whatnot, but used Benediction), a SMN (w/Fenrir pet), and a BLM (Manafont usage). With the Tauri in the NW corner, I encountered DRK, MNK, and WAR-type jobs.

Initial impressions: idk, clusterfuck.

Entered Temenos basement 1, there's two Temenos Aerns in one of the small closed-off alcoves. (One similar to the ones that hold Jailer of Temperance PHs) There were several pairs of Aerns throughout the entire zone. There are also larger groups of Aerns scattered throughout the bigger rooms. They're true sound aggressive.

There was also a Hume Ghrah being followed by three ball Ghrah. (All named Temenos Ghrah) Upon further observation, they run a circuit around the zone at great speed. Upon aggro the balls turned into birds, and when I died they turned back into balls immediately. The balls to not appear to aggro, however the hume aggros by true sound.

Further in there was an open Euvhi surrounded by several closed Euvhi. The closed euvhi did not seem to be aggressive, however the open euvhi aggros by true sound.

I didn't fight any of these long enough to see if they have special abilities or spells.

The last test server update was longer ago than the last real server update, though, because they closed it down for a bit and released un-"test"-ed content.

Went in with the intention of actually fighting this time. Some notes:

Aerns - Seemed weak. They were easily sleepable and Sudden Lunge landed every time. I did notice that, when they weren't stunned, they had rather high Accuracy. They also appear to have decent defense, but nothing to really write home about. Each Aern used its respective 2 hour ability on me (WAR used Mighty Strikes, RNG used Eagle Eye Shot).

Euvhi - These were... problematic. I was able to sleep them before getting gangraped by having all 11 on me at once, however it didn't go far from there. The open euvhi is immune to sleep, so I had to take it on first. It was swinging very quickly, very accurately, and doing quite a bit of damage. On top of 300~500 damage melee attacks, it had a permanent en-drain effect for an additional 100~ damage per hit. It had a decent resistance to stun and was very quickly immune to Sudden Lunge entirely. Its defenses were rather high as well, I was easily doing only 50% of the damage against the Euvhi than I was against the Aerns. I got it to about 60% before the others woke up and killed me before I could resleep them. If I had to guess, at least the open euvhi needs to die to open the teleporter or spawn some sort of chest.

Ghrah - Didn't get far with these. All but one ghrah resisted sleep, they then proceeded to hit me for 394, 526, 776, and 427 damage each. If I had to guess, at least the hume ghrah needs to die to open the teleporter or spawn some sort of chest.

I'm going to guess you need to kill all three bosses to clear each zone, and killing the babies probably weakens the main one. It makes sense, because the Euvhis present an obvious choice (link all the closed ones, or fight only the open one). Also, the demons not linking would be a big tip-off if it is confirmed. How many people do you think it would take to full-clear the zone? How about half-clear it, assuming we don't have to kill all the little guys?

I'm surprised that they didn't have to re-add Temenos Aerns/Ghrahs for the new Limbus zone.

Doesn't it really depend on what the goal of the zone is though? We don't know what drops are like or where they're from. It's possible everything new drops from the second areas but who knows really? I mean maybe there are random treasure crates like old Nyzul, or whatever. I doubt they've been implemented yet.

Given that the rewards, whatever they may be, will probably involve killing dudes, I think it's safe to start by trying to find out how much it will take to clear the zone.

So dish, test server bros. Mobs easy? Hard? What do you think?
