The augmented Summoner's Horn +2 adds 30 seconds to the new 2H but this seems clearly to be a bug to me. At best it should add 10 seconds since it's a 30 seconds duration.
New RDM 2hr has potential if its double potency to all enhancing. Double potency Phalanxga, 700HP Stoneskin, +40ish stats with Gain, +40% DA from temper, 30% haste 300+ def from Protect, double Shell5 effect etc..
It's +50% according to whoever it was that tested it. Not sure what it works on other than haste though.
Automaton EES:
Regular Ranged attack (99 sharpshot, with cirque guanti +2, no +ranged skill; capped fSTR, no maneuvers; choke used): 804 damage
EES (99 sharpshot, same gear, same skill, same fSTR, no maneuvers; choke used): 3222 damage (no variation, but I only did 3 because of how fucking annoying it is to have to run back to my mog house to reset after every single one)
Based on my previous testing (with help from byrth) this set up should have sharpshot's WD at 135, not including fSTR or the DEX mod, neither of which do I have entirely mapped out yet, but they're not super important here, so long as I know fSTR is capped, which my previous tests, and a quick check, made sure of; it's capped at STR >101 with choke on west ronf bunnies.
So, 3222 suggests that it does not strictly follow the x5 pattern, because 1: 804 x a 5.0 modifier would give 4020 damage, 2: anything times a 5.0 modifier would be divisible by 5, which 3222 is not, and 3: SE hates us.
Now, theories:
- 3222 is divisible by 2, 3, 9, 18
somewhat convoluted, but (3222/18)-135 gives 44, which is actually around where I've currently got my estimate for sharpshot's fSTR cap at 99, this would imply an EES formula of (2(D+fSTR))x9.0, but that seems a tad wonky
- 3222/4 is 805.5, 1.5 higher than the default damage, which would be a very obnoxious 4x damage with something mixed in, so to check, I'm going to check again with 437 skill (+9 base damage) to see if that makes any difference....
Same gear/maneuvers as before, 437 skill (+9 base damage, for 144);
- Regular: 831
- EES: 3330
So that's twice I've gotten Regular damage x4, +6 damage.
Next, 432 skill (skill tier is 428, which is +11; I cba to fiddle with merits, so I'm doing 5/5 merits and cirque pants +1 for +15; last test showed the same damage for both, so this is faster)
- Regular: 822
- EES: 3294
Son of a bitch. That's the most random... there's no way that can be right...
Pup EES looks like it's Damage = ((Normal Automaton Ranged Attack Damage x 4) + 6)
I thought there were problems with trying to calculate pet DMG rating because of the way pets damage is calculated, pDIF, and the way level correction works for them(i.e all DDs hitting Kirin for 0 back at 75 but Avatars/Wyverns still hitting for 30-50). Since pets have a different damage formula which I don't think was ever demystified, would be difficult to test. Maybe make a thread on the Math section and get ppl to crack that shit.
Just a bit.

DRK 2hr 30 second duration.
The last 2 swings were a DA so either it was a resist or every swing drains 100% of the mobs TP. Could have tried again and let him regain for a bit before I turned the 2hr on to see how high the TP drain will go but I didn't feel like running back out there tonight. Either way this seems like a really solid zerg 2hr. Swing > WS > Repeat.
Automaton ranged attacks are very regular, to the point that I was able to figure out the auto ranged skill -> weapon damage rating equation, with help from byrth. There was an obvious cut-off point where adding more STR had no influence (with choke ensuring 1 VIT, 102 STR at level 99, independent of ranged skill, but not independent of level, because a 95-96 I hit the fSTR cap at 98 STR) and pDIF didn't fluctuate from 3.0 in over 500 ranged attacks. The only uncertainties for ranged attacks atm are the actual cap on fSTR, and the dex mod, which is enormous, because they function as quasi-WS with a WSC, but no fTP value.
That said, I tested at the last easily access damage tier at 99 (419 skill) and got the same result, damage x4 +6. It's really fucking weird. I'm gonna see if stacking DEX can boost the damage at all next, which it should, given that I've got more than base DEX in all my tests with it.
Also, level correction shouldn't come into play for ronf bunnies, and pet pDIF doesn't seem nearly as wonky as pet fSTR. It's a lot easier to test on pup, though, given that I can see all of my pet's base stats, even if I can't see it's atk/def values.
edit: yep, dex still applies, upped damage to 858, got the expected 3438 damage EES.
Use any displacers?
new SMN 2hr looks sick...but the real question remains: Is this worth using over PD?

Appears to be a cap. Your 2hr seemed to cap much quicker though. Perhaps dSTAT or Ratio determined.
lol agreed, altho I think 1min would be the perfect default duration since 30s leaves very little room for error, even if its more than enough time to blow off your MP using back to back rages for most players.
Hopefully we'll be able to merit the duration into something longer.
Excellent new 2hr. Just thinking about its potential with multiple SMN has me feeling all tingly.
Ramuh's definitely the most effective avatar for this one, if you include Ward spam for stun...
Would definitely be nice if Relic Horn +2 does indeed affect it tho.
also for anyone who'd have wanted to try, Astral Flow doesn't stack with this ability. Like, you can astral flow first (then get your 2hr back) and when you use the new 2hr, the AFBPs will just disappear from the pact list. That said, you'd need meds to even spam AFBPs, but its not possible anyway.
Wow that SMN 2HR is beastly, I wonder if SE will nerf it. It probably won't see the light of day outside of solos and pet burns though but its very good.
So apparently multiple people complain about localization errors, and it takes like a year for a fix to come through? It seems like someone could've tweaked the dat in like 30 seconds to fix this forever ago, but I'm glad they finally did so people stop asking me about it.
