i dont remember armor so cant tell if anything is new..

but for weapons some of them seem interesting..

gasuterion, which im assuming reads Gastellion or Castellion (which is the HQ of what reads to be Blustery Dagger), comes with additional effect: blink O_o
also, i think theres a Dervish Sword that has Spinning Slash dmg +40%, and a Dukka (club) that increases the effect of Starlight..

I see a throwing needle with DEX+3 STR+2 and a Cure Casting Time-2% grip and a MDT 2% grip.

I also spot a STR+4 Acc+4 earring for WAR/DRK/PLD/DRG

Did the test server update break the test client for anyone else? FFXI window just closes the second it's created and back to POL without an error. Currently doing a file check to see if something was busted upon downloading.

[EDIT] And file check showed no shenanigans. Is anyone able to zip up the root-directory files for me? Forcing it to redownload some of the DLLs did squat.

Yeah, I just checked some of the items.

Some of them just plain don't exist in the dats I downloaded today (I tried looking for ヒエロスミトン, the cure potency thing, wasn't in the armor file at all. Then I checked one of the rings where they switched some stats around, and both my before and after dats had no changes.

I call jp bullshit shenanigans. Someone look for that armor on polutils and tell me its item ID or something so I can check wtf is wrong with my stuff.

Also uploading dialog tables now, of interest:

I thought the new salvage stuff was just going to be extra stuff after you clear the initial one, or something? Whatever.

Um, they both look like garbage? Even if the macc/mab wasn't latent, the wand would still be useless for anything other than Meteor. The 7MAB on the body is pretty sad compared to existing bodies, and I doubt the 2% damage -> mp is going to make it any more MP efficient than simply using one of the better bodies and doing more damage (Savant's Gown +2/Nares Saio).

Hope that means no congesting the existing Salvage stuff, but for all I suspect, the entire ToA expansion is run off the same god damn server, so it probably will.
