He was actually getting those items as drops off mobs already, so they were definitely in there before. Not sure if all of them were, or just some, or what.
I suspect they all were, but we only knew about the ones that he found because no one who reinstalled checked. I only reinstalled on one of my computers and only got around to it yesterday, so I can understand that.
Martel said in an earlier post that he got 1270 new files when logging in today (and he successfully logged in yesterday), so they definitely added something. Might just have been background content, or new unused enemy models, or whatever else.
Rom 10 has some armor textures and animations in it? I don't remember a Rom 10 before.
Been a rom10 ever since the update that brought in the crap for the Heroine event.
Also, update didn't fix whatever the last one did to bust the client. Hope I stored those install files on a USB stick somewhere....

As per my Previous testing counters are subject to a shield block check. As such an Ochain PLD cannot be countered(Unless the mob is super high lvl, and rarely then)

I can only assume this is some kinda crosscode weirdness originating from them adding Consummate Counter, the new MNK 2hour.
I also rechecked on the real servers, and confirmed that Ochain vs counter works normally there. So this is quite new.

Well, that NM is not only a MNK mob, but he spams orcish counterstance constantly. Which is why I tested stuff like this on him. And as a bonus, when he gets low, he'll charm you, then regen. Then you start over when you uncharm. Pretty useful mob.

one thing I don't get, is that I've never picked up any of the new mobs for the meeble stuff, dunno why. Maybe I'll look into it. There's some salvage stuff though, at least, so it's definitely working...

There's actually one thing of possible interest.
The spell info stuff got updated with what seems to be new jobs, except, there's three unknown jobs getting thrown around. Could mean nothing, could mean something. There isn't really a pattern or anything to it, but I've labeled them "FIRST" "SECOND" and "THIRD" to help distinguish.
