Initial lamp is very much like the starter chest - follows the exact same pattern if I'm not mistaken..
Lamps on subsequent floors do not make much sense to me.

Adjusting all of the things, etc. But how hard are the monsters? Are we looking at a 6-man event or a trio event?
So basically that starting lamp is identical to the cell crate, it just loads via a menu rather than via cells. I'm guessing there were about 10 total unlocks in there based on what the length of the list looks to be from the scroll bar.
@ Byrth, I don't even think the monsters are going to be appropriate difficulty yet. Heck, some of them aren't even the right mobs yet. From what it sounds like, the only thing they're looking to test right now is the unlock method. I'd hope this event eventually ends up "balanced" more towards the higher end 6-10 man range rather than the low end since Meeble Burrows is already going to fill in that low end 3-5 man range.
Some of the monsters hit pretty hard, but I'm having no problem running around with Apoc on DRK/SAM. I don't think everything is appropriate difficulty at all, though. Mob placement/type definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Everything was just thrown in to test pathos.
Seems they just copied over the floor jump mechanics from the original. Can't get past the floor the Ramparts are usually on. Oh well.
Relevant: "Drop" rate on pathos removal seemed really high; I would either unlock on the first or second mob, but it usually only took one. Unless I just wasn't patient enough for rarer pathos removals (I sort of doubt this), it doesn't seem like it's going to be an issue unless they dramatically lower the rate.
For anyone who's curious: other than playing with lamps and killing some trash mobs, there's absolutely nothing of value. You can't even reach the not-real boss.
I am not sure if this is happening to anyone else who is parsing, but Medala Cape is making my parser pitch a fit. The "C" in Cape is not really a "C", it is really entity U+65315 which cannot be saved in a normal file system for an image name. Is that the fixed width font that Japanese players can use in game, like this:

FYI, test server was NOT updated to reflect the content of this update, so probably not a good idea to test anything Meeble-related on the test server until it is updated again.
Nice update today. Any neosalvage gear yet?
No bosses, conditional NMs don't spawn, I'm guessing no with a slim chance at dats only.
If gear was added, it is in the new .dat format that POLUtils doesn't see.
New Arrapago was added, if nothing else.

Through careful trials and testing I've confirmed the information that everyone has been waiting for: Etudes are still shit.
Etudes are such a horrible idea, so underpowered, and so poorly implemented that they hurt me to think about.
Observe:
* On average, Tier 1 Etudes are better than Tier 2 Etudes.
* Wearing full BRD AF3+2 set increases the potency of Etudes by ~50% purely because their element matches the stat they boost.
If Etudes were similar to Boost spells and weren't competing against Marches, Minuets, etc. then we could talk. As it is, I don't know why they even bothered.
Sounds like something to request that will be shot down immediately after!
I'm on it~
Average stat bonus of +30~35 with a 99Gjallar and Daru casting both Etudes, +40 more or less if you're using a corresponding song with the AF3 bonus stats (ideally you'd be using these in lower tier content like ADL where the DEX is very likely superior to STR, and you wouldn't likely be using Marches there to provide synergism). That's also assuming perfect or near perfect recasts due to the deterioration. If they didn't deteriorate they'd be slightly more interesting, but alas...
Tried boost-dex on adl, it doesn't change anything, which means he likely has has either 200+ (agi) or some kind of critical hit rate taken cap. In reality boost str is better against him. I tried many things including tping with 210+ dex, or ramuh's favor, I always have impetus, but never saw it go regularely past 35%.
Etudes are decent for wildfire on mobs like botulus/bismarck/naraka.
