Probably it's own family like Sea's Liminians and Luminions, I bet w/e Umbril's family is called, the Heartwings will be the opossing family!

Is anyone able to take some pics of the couple 'adjusted' Indi- spells with the reduced wishy-washy effect?
A partial results list from testing the new elemental damage changes.
Spoiler: show
The inflection points for all spells occur at 0, +50, +100, and +200. The new versions of the spells don't seem to have a damage minimum. At -25 ⌂Int Stone 1 does 0 damage and Water 1 does 2 damage.
Fire 3 and Blizzard 3 int scaling are bugged on the server. Fire 3 barely scales at all and Blizzard 3 scaling does not match the other spells in the tier.
I thought umbrils fell into the "sub-category" of elementals, like ponies and pixies.
When you say +100 or +200, do you mean natural INT + gear stats?
I think he means at +100 int over mob int etc.
That's pretty wild then, it's very different from the way it is currently. Higher tier blizzard and thunder spells actually see their INT multiplier go up instead of down at the first inflection point.
I made this table interpolating the missing values for water/wind/fire/blizzard based on SE's data and the data from Shep above. Check out Blizz and Thunder IV. Essentially, the INT bonus to earth/water nukes is going to be even more significant than we thought in that low dINT range (0-50), but less significant than we thought at very high dINT (well over 100).
@Shep, I'm not sure how or where you did the tests but it would be useful if you could repeat for the newly adjusted AoE and other nukes (stone and thunder is enough to interpolate the rest of the info).

Uggg if that's true could make gearing odd
As others have pointed out elsewhere, I don't think it will change much as most of the best nuking gear tends to have the most INT on it anyway. The only big exception I can think of is an upgraded Soothsayer Staff vs. TotM damage staves. There are other minor tweaks you could make like Strophadic Earring instead of MAB+6, etc., but nothing really significant.
Ok should be better to say takes more math to compare peices especially if not the best stuff
Hi Spira, anything hidden in the dats this week XD
Also, would you guys recommend starting a soothsayer upgrade then? Or perhaps save up airlixirs until the update and buy it only if no better options are added via delve or revies?
I would wait until the next patch. You don't gain the benefits until they release the adjustments anyways.
Or play around in skirmish since the max augments seem to be about the same between thebstaffs iirc
I tested as Sch/Whm on the N Gustaberg starter bees for the +100 ~ +150 int range. Then moved onto Aby La-theine worms for 150 ~ 200. Then switched over to gustav tunnel worms to finish testing -25 ~ +100. Starting to test the -ga's and other random nukes now and will post later.
Great data so far. Thanks for taking the time to test and post.
I'm currently leveling my GEO, should I be focusing on INT gear then ?
Monstrosity areas on the test server are now open to: west/east ronfaure, north/south gustaberg, west/east saruta, la theine plateau, valkurm, jugner, beaucedine, and xarcabard.
Checking out the adjustments to reives. The wasp nest lair reive at H-11 Ceizak normally had several mantids where now the test version has 1 mantid and 2 wasps. Sih gates reive has 2 chapuli and a twitherym on one side of the roots, and the same mob setup on the other side. Other sih gates reive has 1 cracklaw, 2 leaches on either side of the roots. So the amount is more realistic now.
Edit: It's possible this is just the normal levels for 0 colonization, but I don't remember what is normal.
Finished testing the AoE spells as well as Comet and the Ancient Magics.
Spoiler: show
The Ancient Magics in each tier have identical damage and multiplier values.
