    Anyone using Omelette du fromage test server manage to get any idea of what some of these weaponskills' skillchain properties are?

    Not a fan of Mithras in general but I gotta say those animations look the best of the 3 I've seen so far.

    Interesting to see if these new WS create some new builds for classes that previously had a sub weapon but were constrained by shitty WS options.

    You only go there once you manage to obtain a gem and clasp, so unless everyone obtains them at the same time, it shouldn't be too bad. Assuming managing to get those two items is somewhat time consuming or difficult.

    Looks like there are two new Voidwatch fights in Valkurm and Buburimu (in addition to the other nine new ones that were previously on the test server). I'm not sure what they are tied to, but there are two new quests which specifically refer to those areas (the mobs may not be on the test server yet).

    Summary:
    A yet-unstable planar rift has been
    sighted in the Valkurm Dunes.
    Engage and eliminate any Voidwalkers

    Really pumped about this update, the WSs will be interesting esp since a vast amount of jobs can use each one.

    Nyzul gear is looking good as well and its a nice single pty event.

    the moogle gave the soul gem clasp. the fight is rather hard, i went in as a blu, and what i found from the 5 mins i lasted in there...

    HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEE ammount of HP. (900 damage did 1%)
    Chains weaponskills (does Tornado Kick > Asuran Fists)
    is able to be stunned
    Suggested by the moogle and maat to bring 5 other people

    There's a video of a trio attempt over on FFXIAH. BST pet(goey gerard) gets shredded. Ochain PLD got dropped during hundred fists. Looks fun.

    Ok. I was unaware that ability names were just stored in plain text, so I have come up with my own fix:

    Read the instructions, fully updated and should fix everything now.

    olde: I believe I have placed most of the new WS's in the right place, but I'm not 100% sure. All ability names are replaced with a debug name, so EVERY ability should work now. BSTS, SMNs, and whoever else was having issue with the "."'s, please try this out, and tell me which debug# is which ability, and I'll update it. I might update it myself by comparing to the JP dat, but I need to run to class now cause I'm late. I'll be back in like 2 hours.

    Working on some more translations from the post Lyra linked (there are a ton)

    Stat+8 rings:

    STR+8 MND-3 fire resist+20
    VIT+8 AGI-3 earth resist+20

    If his doesn't work mine does, it's on the page before this. Mine only has the Weaponskills and not the smn/bst abilities so Julian's will be the better choice if it's working.
