yup - 12 files - they fixed the WSes (but not the descriptions)

Got my internet back up, but it's being unstable as hell <_<

Anyway, looks like they fixed abilities, and updated weapons/armor, so I'll upload those.

Uh, and when I say the updated the armor/weapon dats, it was probably just to add more blank items with no descriptions, gggggggggggggggggggggggg. I'm not uploading this shit.

ok, I lied, I uploaded them to http://juliandev.com/ffxi/TEST2011-11-30/ as the ones with DEC1 appended to the name. Is there actually anything different in them? Fuck if I know, I need to go write a paper and study for exams now.

edit2: there's definitely more blank stuff at least, weapon-->DEC1 goes from 18.35kb to 18.65kb, and armor goes 16.34-->18.02. It's probably just new blank stuff, though. I also uploaded the "new" abilities, with no descriptions, lolse.

Could probably kite during hundred fists, or bring a SMN + team of good melee and PD + zerg him down.

How hard was it to find the clasp + gem?

I saw someone say that the clasp comes from the moogle in Gardens. I haven't tested it personally though.

Edit: Soul Gem comes from the previous LB.

I saw mention of 15 merit points needed for a quest. Is that related to weapon skills or the LB?

I know on bst, the leech has a natural 50% pdt against blunt, couple that with gear and you can hit cap of 87.5% on that mnk bcnm. Bring the new Theta food or Eta's and plenty of dawn mulsum

Requiscat reported by Gobli has no SC properties :[
Shijin Spiral has a weird 1.0625 fTP on 1st hit (maybe the rest as well?) (Shijin Spiral is DEX mod btw)
Shattersoul has 1.375 initial hit fTP with MDB-10 as its effect.

All stat mods still looking homogeneous 20%~100% stats

Perhaps I missed something but I killed a taurus in Abyssea-Vunk on the test server and recieved an unnamed item that looks like an Iron Plate.

Magian trial related perhaps?

The plate is just the blank default icon for items.

Likewise, the default icon for weapons is that glove/mitt thing.

(Just saying, it wont necessarily still be a plate once it becomes an actual item)

If the update on friday doesn't identify these items, I am planning on modifying the item dat myself so that we can distinguish between all of these "."'s. Sometime this weekend, probably.

So where can I find actual test data for the weaponskills posted? All I've seen so far is copying Gobli and random weaponskills on VWNMs.

so is To Infinity and Beyond the final Limit Break quest with the 6 man BCNM? or is it that 15 merit point quest? didn't see any concrete answer
