Dagger Testing Links.
I can't imagine the Ranged WSs would be remotely hard to work out, and they'd settle it for sure whether it's 32% -> 100% or 20% -> 100%. My money is on the first, because why would SE lie in the descriptions?

I'm 100% positive the polearm is not 32% at 1/5. Numbers I got are completely impossible if that's the case.
To elaborate:
(113 STR, -> WSC of 30 @ 32%, + 146 from D+fSTR = minimum possible crit damage of 528*fTP, ) 377 observed, fTP is at most .71.
If 100% at 5/5, at .71 fTP, that's a maximum of 579 damage possible @ 100 TP with 133 str. But I saw nothing lower than 583, which is above the supposed maximum possible.
I think it's the later, because when you open up Tier 2 spell Protectra/Shellra V, one merit is the base for the spell and every merit afterwards is considered the upgrade like Protectra V. However, this doesn't apply to all merits (Dia 3, Bio 3, etc). 32 -> 100 would account for the 17% per upgrade up to 100%, however it could easily be 20->100. I am sure we can figure this out via testing level 1 of the merit against low level mobs.
I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere else -- anyone else notice Daurdabla 99?
String Instrument
Singing skill +20
String instrument skill+20
Increases song effect duration
Grants two additional song effects
Lv99 BRD
Yeah, it's pretty broken. Gjallar+Harp means 4 songs at +4 fulltime. That shit is bonker's.
Yes, that's the point. =)
Because with this system they want you to either specialize in a few select WS's, making them strong and better than the previous best WS's, or to unlock all of them and have them all be mediocre. I never said it was a good system, and I personally dislike it, and gave an idea of what I thought would be a better system.![]()
Yeah, it's definitely 20% at one merit. I guess SE messed up.
One Merit, Last Stand (Marksmanship)
100TP:
Normal Shot: 570 = 190 Base Damage + fSTR2
WS Shot: 1248 (107 AGI) = 2 fTP, 18 damage from WSC
WS Shot: 1308 (107 AGI) = 2.1 fTP
WS Shot: 1260 (122 AGI) = 2 fTP, 20 damage from WSC
WS Shot (200 TP): 1326 (107 AGI) = 2.125 fTP
WS Shot (300 TP): 1416 (122 AGI) = 2.25 fTP
So the WS is 20% AGI and 2/2.125/2.25 fTP
Two Merits:
WS Shot: 1356 (107 AGI) = 36 from WSC, indicating a 40% mod and SE's descriptions being wrong.
Three Merits:
WS Shot: 1464 (107 AGI) = 54 from WSC, indicating a 60% mod and SE's descriptions being wrong.
Four Merits:
WS Shot: 1572 (107 AGI) = 72 from WSC, indicating an 80% mod and SE's descriptions being wrong.
Five Merits:
WS Shot: 1680 (107 AGI) = 90 from WSC, indicating a 100% mod and SE's descriptions being wrong.
Which is what I don't likereally sucks for those who have a lot of jobs leveled and they have to now choose which ones they want to buff up and be on par with or better than older weaponskills. Would've been cool if you could have job specific WS's and then upgrade them via a 3rd tier merit and you could then max out every WS you could. But yeah, this is what SE wants sadly...pick 3 to buff out and blow 100 merits for each one.
I'm sure these are all just placeholders, but... just found in JP dats (none of these are ex)...
* Stackable to 99: five different items which are labeled with the five equipment slots (head, body, hands, legs, feet)
* Stackable to 99: Six other items listed as collectible A through collectible F.
* Stackable to 12: Eight types of jewels, one for each element
* Most importantly, stackable to 12: Broccoli
My money's on broccoli being the upgrade item for relic armor.
Yeah. Since it takes so many merits to even cap one WS, I wish they'd just let us do them all. Hell, I wish they'd just let us cap every merit, period. But I guess that would be too "broken"?
Also, I was looking at the JP armor dats, and the nyzul ones (and all of the other new 96+ items) don't have any stats. Where did that JP person pull all those stats from? (Or maybe SE removed them in the update today/last night, since they DID update all armor/weapons, idk)
Is there anyone who hasn't updated last night's patch yet that can check?
Apex Arrow, One Merit (Archery):
Normal Shot : 552 damage = 184 Base Damage + fSTR
WS (107 AGI) : 1818 damage = Looks like 3.0 fTP and 204 base damage
WS (122 AGI) : 1836 damage = Again, looks like 3.0 fTP and 204 base damage
I don't appear to have an appropriate gorget or belt for this, so I can't absolutely confirm the fTP. It's freaking 3, though.
Yeah...I'm not too happy about this turn of events but meh, it's what it is. I'm probably gonna 5/5 GS and Scythe ws, and then split the remaining merits among Sword, Club, and Staff, GA, Axe. Though I may not touch axes since I'm making an Ukon now, and wouldn't use regular axe other than to screw around with skilling up or whatever. I dunno. I wish we would just learn these all at a native level and not have to chose like this but oh well.
So, are the people testing these new WS out doing it with 5/5 or 1/5? For example I've seen people say the Scythe WS does anywhere from 1k-3k. Not sure how that's possible.
Yeah.. I'm 99% sure I looked at the french dats and saw stats, but they're all gone now. Can anyone confirm/deny for me real quick before I think I'm going crazy? lol
Also, I'm kinda excited for getting the axe ws on my 3 accounts, gonna make the bst 3box so much more powerful >.>

Since the first has an additional 0.2 fTP, factor that: 236 - 197 = 39; 39 / 0.2 = 195. 195 ~= 197. Alternatively, 197 * 1.2 = 236.4 => 236. Looks good from that angle.
So, there's a very high probability of 1.0 fTP.
Base damage is roughly (48+13+WSC) * crit dmg bonus. You state 16% crit damage bonus. Per wiki, you've tested dnc to be 11% at 99. Were you wearing Loki's Kaftan as well?
Factoring out crit damage, that puts total base damage as 170 for the set without the gorget/belt. 170 - (48 + 13) = 109
109 WSC from 95+34=129 agi, after factoring out alpha, would be.. 100% (129 * 0.85 = 109.65 => 109)
While not fully conclusive, I'd say there's a better than 90% probability that the dagger mods are 1.0 fTP and 100% agi.
If you'd care to repeat with 4 merits, we can start narrowing down the effect of those. At least 20 of each would be nice.
I wonder what causes the 2hit part of Last Stand to activate. Probably on having a few bullets remaining, if I had to guess though.
I was wearing Loki's Kaftan, as it's one of the only pieces of AGI gear I have on the Test Server.
I finished working out Last Stand's mods/fTP and progression. It's 20%|40%|60%|80%|100%, so that's likely how they all are.
