Also casted AeroV, and I think he said Thunder / Ice were less resisted but for Blizz V that's really low (compared to previous voidwatch, especially since that's not my gimp elf blm)

Nympha Eunomia
Wamouracampa!
Slow2 Aura 20'
Casts Fire-based magic. Addle, Firaga3, Fire4
Damage reduction. CdC and Radiance were doing 300~400 damage
Fairly straightforward. likes Cannonball.
HOLY SHIT IT JUST EVOLVED
After killing the Wamouracampa (we downed in like 8min?), a Kalos Eumonia spawns.
Yeah, it's a Wamoura.
Addle aura 20'
Casts higher tier Fire magic, was fond of Firaja. Did like ~1000dmg to unbuffed RNGs, ~500? to PLDs w/ Shell5 and all sorts of Magus Roll.
Took at least 2x the damage the Wamouracampa did. Grand Fall went up from 600 to 1200, CdC and Jishnu were going as high as 1800.
Motherfucker loves Erosion Dust and Erratic Flutter above 50%. There was so much Erosion Dust in the beginning, oh god.
Obviously, don't debuff it. Exuviation.
Below 50% it got Fire Break, highest I saw was 1200, lowest was ~300 (aside from a 0 shadow ring'd!)
And yeah, killing VWNM on test server = crystals since you can't get them from conquest since every zone is beastmen controlled.

Agathos - Amphiptere NM, Amhuluk model
This is the most terrible thing since the Mantis. Vermilion Wind does ~1200 damage. Calamitous Wind does ~1700 dmg. Warped Wail is LOADS of fun too. Looked to be 1/2 or 1/3 Max HP/MP.
Casts all sorts of wind-based magic. Aero V, Aeroga V, Aeroja, Silencega, and just for fun Paralyga. Aeroja did ~1200 damage. Aeroga V did ~1100 dmg. The issue of whether Shell or Barspells were up is hotly contested.
Oh yeah, Reaving Wind? It'll push you out of the boundary if you're not careful. I believe (it was very hectic so I'm not sure) while under Reaving Wind it's AI changes.
It seems to use 2 WS in a row or 2 spells or 1 WS 1 spell while knocking you back.
The bright side is, he's really weak to physical damage! Like, super squishy. CdC was hitting for 900~100. Predator Claws was ranging from 900~2000dmg. The last RNG was tearing it apart until all his Decoys died. I don't think Decoy Shot works with Avatars.
We were able to get rid of at least 10-15% of his health with those 3 SMNs holding him. The RNG said Wildfire did approx 300 damage, but he was dead for most of the fight with the lovely AoE spamming so he didn't get a chance to fire off a Jishnu's.
Ranger said he was doing 150~300 damage per shot, and up to 400 per critical hit. I don't have evidence in my logs anymore of this, so I'll take his word!
Garuda resists everything-- Aeroja was down to 80~100 dmg, the Winds did 200 dmg on a bad day. So, it was pretty ridiculous, fucking Summoners.
Anyhow, I'm going to bed now. So, I hope you faggots are happy I wrote all this shit up because it's going to be invalidated when it goes live.
I 100% thought it was over when we killed the Wamouracampa. I thought the box was glitched and didn't show up then OMFG NOT YOU AGAIN ITZA
The Amphitere doesn't hit hard either, back turned on PLD was taking 200ish damage, facing was 30-60, crits over 100. I personally think you could attempt to DD tank this but the spot we fought him at sucked, so better area and it could work. A Vere MNK and some other DD's to run in could probably make short work of it, though it does have a lot of HP and double erases would need to be fast in case of Aeroja
The info in this test stuff is more than exists on the entire GEWiki for existing Voidwatch stuff.
I gave up a long time ago on "other" wiki and GE wiki. As a fairly regular contributor of what I thought to be useful information, the split situation left me confused and annoyed, and I found that while BG wiki lacks the breadth of content the other wikis had, it had the most updated information on end-game, and especially new end-game stuff, which is typically the only stuff that matters to me. So I've been heavily focused on updating there.
https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Voidwatch
I don't know whether we should start adding the information on the new NMs now or if we should wait until the final update in September. I know people have gotten a jump start on the JAs and spells by getting those up on the (BG)wiki now. I'm thinking we might as well get the stuff up now, we can always fill in the tier requirements and drops later on -- it's not likely that the fights themselves will change much or at all between now and the update.
Has anyone figured out how the periapt of sapience "enhances" the periapt of guidance (JA/WS messages)?
Someone somewhere else had said it gave more specific info. Like instead of "pet abilities" it would say "ladybug pet abilities". Er they mentioned something like that but I cant even say if it was the thing youre asking about but Id bet it is.
It's broken currently for everything but pet abilities. But, it makes "The fiend appears vulnerable to Pet Abilities!" into "The fiend appears vulnerable to Eft Family Attacks!" or BP's into "The fiend appears vulnerable to Light Elemental Blood Pacts!" "Water Elemental Wyvern Breaths!", haven't seen an automaton one yet.
Does work for avatars, it will tell you the element for sure, I can't remember if it said whether it's magical or physical BP as well, but I think so.
These fights sound really nice to me too. Can't wait for non-/doze worthy new content.
so jacked for VW. Looks tough as fuck. Thanks for posting Rocl.
Is there a way of knowing which VW NMs are from which tier? I'm trying to document this stuff for myself, but I got no way of categorizing them other than by their port location order.
Obviously the first couple of zones will be T1, final one will be T3, but no idea what the ones inbetween count for.
I think port location order is the only indication for now. The structure of these battles seems like it might be somewhat different from the way the nation paths were laid out (there are logged quests for various sets of three Voidwatch battles from this new content which wasn't the case for any of the previous stuff), so there may be more to accessing a battle than just having the appropriate tier of abyssite. Plus there are so many NMs involved with each set (15 for Jeuno, 12 for Altepa), there are probably more than one associated with tier 3 for each.
Yeah, you could try to manipulate it some with threnodies, ninjutsu, etc, but good luck getting say, an Ironclad's fire resistance low enough that a wyvern would use fire breath on it.
So yeah, I was exaggerating about it not helping at all, but it's still much harder to do anything about than blood pacts or sic.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. Right now the periapt of sapience really fucks with guidance. It's not totally fucked but appears to be very fucked. It gives you the specific pet abilities, ice elemental BP, Valoredge X-9000 WS, Ladybug WS, earth elemental wyvern breath. Those are the the clearest clues I remember. I've only gotten one "JA" proc since then (The fiend appears vulnerable to Puppetmaster abilities!) and a few magic messages, but only managed to proc an NM once and I can't recall which it was tbh, think it was green!! on the Mantis. Don't remember much of anything about it.
The only clue we'd have is what Slycer suggests. I think Julian posted new Quest data and they seem to mention specific zones, so that may help, I haven't looked at his data anymore than once because idgaf. It's impossible to tell on the test server since you have a fully upgraded abyssite. It'd be like taking having a Hahava pop w/o fighting any of the mobs then going back and trying to figure out which one comes first :s but that's easier since it's p. obvious you'd go Ronfaure>Ordelle's>Jugner>KRT, well actually that is weird since KRT is right next to Ronfaure but that aside it's going out from the city!
I initially though the zones outside of Jeuno to be T1, but after the Agathos fight I'm not as certain. The Mantis is most definitely the end-all-be-all boss.
