    It's a remake of Infernal Affairs. While the latter was an excellent watch, the former was a ton better. I liked how they modeled The Departed off of Whitey Bulger who his own story is pretty great.

    I first heard Old Boy had Will Smith as the lead. I like Will Smith, but I do not feel he would've been the right pick for this movie. I'm interested to see what Brolin will do with this movie. I'll have to admit this was the first Korean movie I ever watched so I'm a bit of a homer for it I suppose.

    Oldboy (original) in Korean + subs is the greatest movie I've ever seen.

    You got me Ty, I flew to South Korea for the opening of OldBoy in 2003. More difficult than learning korean, was getting a passport at 14 to go by myself.
