I'm still amazed that they would bundle the original game with the sequel and sell it for the same price. The original is $30.00 alone on the eShop but it gets discounted to $9.98 when you buy the sequel for $49.99.

No but you can use External Hard Drives if you want additional space as crappy as a solution that is. But gonna have to agree that buying physical is still my go to on Wii U due to limited storage space and the garbage interactions I have with the eShop in general. PS4 is all digital if I can manage it.

I don't get why people give such a shit about the hardware when Nintendo still makes great games. It doesn't get the third party support but it has a fairly strong library now and some of the highest rated games so far this gen.

If you have a PS4 or Xbox one Its a great system to own with one of those. Much better than owning a PS4 and X1

WiiU feels like the 3DS when it first got going. Came out, couple remakes, couple new titles, no real reason to own one for what, a year maybe? WiiU's launch lineup wasn't great, but the library now just keeps getting better and better. I bought mine day 1 to prep for MH and I didn't do shit with it until that came out really. Now I turn it on every other day.

Only reason I'd even jump on PS4 earlier than next year now is because I'd wanna take advantage of Destiny digital free upgrade and a better system to play XIV on, and that's not sayin' much for it.

I have a WiiU but I give Nintendo shit because it deserves it. Making graphically inferior consoles, abandoning core gamers because they made money with the WiiU. Lets not fool ourselves; this WiiU-vilution is happening only because Nintendo is making a direct attempt to amends the mistakes it made with the Wii: abandoning us, saying we don't matter because casual grandmas are buying Wii Fit.

Get this! Some people actually don't give a fuck about the newest Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, or whatever the fuck rehash Nintendo is pushing out nowadays. Some people actually grew tired of that crap 5~10+ years ago. I would love an honest survey of Nintendo fans who actually bothered to play the first Bayonetta.

To anyone that bought/is buying a Wii U for this, do yourself a favor and look into The Wonderful 101. If you like other Platinum/Kamiya games and are willing to deal with a bit of a learning curve it's an absolutely fantastic game. It doesn't do a good job of explaining some of its deeper mechanics, but there are some great fan-made tutorials out there. Easily one of my favorite games last year.

Well, if you don't care about Nintendo games then does it really matter how good the hardware is? Outside of NES and SNES I don't think most people bought a Nintendo system for 3rd party games.

If you don't like Sony first party games but enjoy Microsoft first party games you aren't going to buy a PS4 because of the hardware.

DS had some nice niche RPGs that didn't appear, or took a bit to appear on other consoles. Devil Survivor and The World Ends with You come to mind, as well as the Ace Attorney games.

I played Bayo 1 on PS3. I guess you could call me a Nintendo "fan" as I enjoy Nintendo first party games, but I wouldn't really say it's just because they're Nintendo games. It just so happens that a majority of first party games Nintendo makes are actually well made and fun. I know the Pokemon/Zelda/Mario/Metroid games are all just rehashes of the same core concept but for me the games provide enough entertainment that I'm not feeling bored by doing essentially the same thing as before. I get that not everyone shares my same opinion so to each their own.

Really it's a weird situation happening right now. The entire reason Bayo 2 is Nintendo exclusive is because other producers wouldn't fund them, but at the same time if you buy a Wii U just for Bayo 2 and they see that Bayo is a console seller they might actually pay more attention and try to get multi-platform rights to it next time whether it be another Bayo or just a Platinum game in general.
