Hardware != Graphics Only
Someone just posted a bit ago about not being able to swap out the hard drive, that is a hardware problem. Wii U sucks all around, not just for graphics.
Also, one of the reasons Nintendo tends to not get third party support is their consoles don't have the technology to provide the experiences that devs want to provide. It absolutely is a big deal.
This and it doesn't help that Nintendo went from the Console + Standard controller setup to the craziness that is Motion control Wiimotes and Gamepad makes it harder for any interested third parties to actually develop for the system. The Wii U Pro Controller should have been a standard peripheral that came with the Gamepad to encourage developers who want nothing to do with the Gamepad to actually contribute.
Personally, I'll admit to being a slave to the Zelda franchise. I planned on buying a Wii U when the new Zelda title came out. However, I don't think I can resist the siren song of Bayonetta. I've been enjoying the hype ever since it started, and I really think I'll have a lot of fun with it.
I'll be getting a used system, though. Screw buying one at retail.
I bought my Wii U for this! I played the demo. Wish I hadn't. Now I want it immediately! Oh well, at least when I come back from Fan Fest I'll have a great game waiting for me!
Coincidently, i took the weekend of bayo 2 off since i'm going to horror nights with the gf, coming back the day of release!

Just watched the Giant Bomb Quick Look, 10/10 isn't a high enough score for this game. Now to cry for a while that I'm not gonna get to play this game for ages.
I feel your pain, karatex
Bayo 2 looks soo good. but must play through first one first (again) when i get home w/ it later today!
So, Bayo 2 plays good, awesome, but what about the first one? Does it suffer from the frame rate issues the ps3 version has? I haven't seen anyone mention that yet, or I'm just blind.
The first game plays very well. I haven't seen any frame rate or loading issues except for when things get really hectic. Then you might get a little bit of slowdown.
Apparently it's the definitive version of the game.
New one seems a little easier then the original. Enemy telegraphs are more obvious combined with what seems like a frame or two more hit stun during combos, so very easy to dodge.
Game is fucking great though, I think my Saturday is gonna be full annihilating this game.
I learned that I can't dodge for shit in this game.
Game is fucking all kinds of great. Makes the Wii U purchase sting a little bit less now. Too bad nobody is playing it though, game had dismal sales in Japan, probably worse over here. Don't care though, shit is so good.
I didn't think it was possible for the game to really improve, but it did. It's a little easier yeah, but the weapons are still fun as shit and it's so much more vibrant than the first. The fluid 60 fps doesn't hurt either. The first one still chugs little bit at times, but not 2. I'm about halfway through it and having a blast.
I feel so sorry for P*. They make such great games and yet hardly anyone plays them. I'm shocked they're still in business to be honest. I guess that's why they make so many different partnerships with different companies, to front the cost of development. If you have a Wii U, but not this game, go get it. System seller? Eh, not sure. But combined with Smash coming soon, Zelda next year it's worth it to me.
