Game is fucking all kinds of great. Makes the Wii U purchase sting a little bit less now. Too bad nobody is playing it though, game had dismal sales in Japan, probably worse over here. Don't care though, shit is so good.

I didn't think it was possible for the game to really improve, but it did. It's a little easier yeah, but the weapons are still fun as shit and it's so much more vibrant than the first. The fluid 60 fps doesn't hurt either. The first one still chugs little bit at times, but not 2. I'm about halfway through it and having a blast.

I feel so sorry for P*. They make such great games and yet hardly anyone plays them. I'm shocked they're still in business to be honest. I guess that's why they make so many different partnerships with different companies, to front the cost of development. If you have a Wii U, but not this game, go get it. System seller? Eh, not sure. But combined with Smash coming soon, Zelda next year it's worth it to me.

But is it at least selling more than bayonetta 1?

Fuck it, I'll just have to buy 3 copies and force everyone I know to buy the game even if they don't have a Wii U. It's OK P+, I'll save you.

I don't think so. B1 sold something like 100k copies in Japan the first week. This did 28k or so. Not a good sign. No idea how the original or the sequel performed over here.

They more than likely anticipated the weak sales when they cutoff access to a significant portion of the fanbase. Nintendo is probably more concerned with the long term health of sales.

Well I beat it last night. Game is pretty short, but still damned good.

If you haven't played them yet, those last few chapters are so fucking fun. I think the last 5 chapters or so I was just having such a good time with them I kept going instead of savoring it a bit and beat the game before I knew it.

Last boss is pretty much Promathia. No that's not a spoiler.

The hell aspect of the game was much more interesting. The monster design was a lot more varied I felt. The story was throwaway, but still better than the last I guess. If they ever make a sequel to this, I guess we know Bayonetta's father will be the villain. Fighting alongside Rodin was great. He was one shotting everything, lol. Too good. Those last couple of stages. In the mech suit... hnnnnnng. And then fighting alongside your mother on the clock tower, the throwback to B1 moments, and the after burner esque tribute. Just too good.

On to unlocking all the hidden stuff!

Beat the game and went back to collect the weapons I missed. Really wish I had finished the chainsaws and scythe when they were first available, those weapons are amazing.

All non 3ds/mobile phone games/consoles have tanked in Japan in the last couple years - Bayonetta isn't immune to that.

Salamandra (the chainsaws) and Alruna on the feet is by far my favorite combination. Actually anything as long as you have Alruna on the feet is pretty much money.

What's the best way you did to farm it? I read about all these 200k halo in 2 minute farms and I haven't come close to getting that amount
