Just finished this beast of a game. About to do the NG+ and max everything. Gotta say, it's probably one of my favorite games of all time now.

I was talking with a friend of mine who played all the previous Persona's and he said there's a line of Anime and Manga out in the U.S. Anyone tried it/like it? My favorite character is Naoto (surprise) and he said there's a spin-off story for her character after the events of P4TG. Is it any good?

Animu is good but its a retelling of the game's story. So nothing "new" if that's what you're looking for, def enjoyable though.

Anime is great, retells the story nicely, gives the MC some personality and the overall structure plays out a bit differently in regards to social links. Yeah, biased, but still good.

Anime has as much breathing room as the game does. Which is to say all the social links and events (school trips, inn etc) are the "breather", so there isn't anything else the anime really needed in those terms since those events are equally important.

scroll up to see some clips I posted of the anime. They did a really good job. Pretty much all the voice actors are the same except Kanji was changed halfway through (the new guy does a really good job though so you won't even notice).

Adachi sounds awkward though because they had JYB also do the MC, so he tried to make Adachi sound a little different.

Dunno where else to put this. But looks like a new persona reveal is coming soon... Maybe a p4 sequal? I'd prefer p5 or a sequal since the story was finished up pretty well.

Apparently there is some real bad stutter on anime cutscenes and all out attacks.

Did they really need to keep the motion blur? It looked bad on PS2, it looked bad on its Vita port, and while it's mitigated slightly by 60fps/higher-rez on PC, it's still there with no option to turn it off.
