So can anyone confirm for me that they have hinted at Nyarlethotep's return in the story mode? lol could be setting up something epic for P5.
Kanji makes my dick rock hard. The Biter is so gooooooood.
anybody wanna play sometime this week on brobox? need to grind it out.
I'm hoping to get some time in on Wednesday depending on how unpacking goes.
I still need to grind training mode some more before playingI'll just be a beat up training dummy right now lol
Ill play people sometime '-'
I want to get this game but I need to take a break from fucking fighting games right now...
I'd say just go straight to matches. You got auto combos for confirms, spend time learning the footsies and matchups and don't worry about grinding out training mode combos till later. Takes me like 3 times as many hits to kill anybody who knows real combos as they do me, but I don't really care right now. If I out-footsie them they're still never getting those hits. That's something I really love about this game on lower level so far.I still need to grind training mode some more before playing I'll just be a beat up training dummy right now lol
There's no X-Factor bullshit in this game either, so if you're getting outplayed, you just have to deal with it. None of that free guard-cancel into kill or throw option select into kill nonsense.
Spoiler: show
I think I'm settling on Yukiko now. She is quite fun and actually a bit similar to Juri with her button hold comboes, and I'm partial to zoning play ;o low tier be damned!
Fuck. I like this game a lot. Really hope it blows up. Either SLab or Aigis at this point for me (Aigis for a char with a normal persona). Although, SLab is a difficult char, I don't see much benefit from starting with an easier char in the game since she works so differently.
Well, this game is fun to play, has a balanced cast, great netcode, has flashy graphics, and is fairly casual friendly. What's not to like?
It seems to be getting high number of entries at the locals so far, so that's a great sign.
I'm having a really hard time online, prolly on account that I suck.
Playing Elizabeth, and I'm simply getting smashed by all the Yukiko's and Akihiko's. Having trouble with Labry's axe shit too cause that things range just seems silly. Any advice?
2 wins in 15 matches.
Add Yu to that list of people im getting destroyed by.
Also hating on these instant kill moves.
/rageon
I was thinking about dropping SLab for a while in favor of Labrys, just for a bit to get used to it... but @.@ only on the first match but dat raping in the 3rd round.
Free DLC today. It's a demo mode of the 30th challenge for all characters. It can also be unlocked through gameplay, thus not needing to download this freebie.
5C into either 2C or 5D. Learn a non-fatal and fatal combo off both. Not many people are able to consistently get around the 2C/5D mixup right now (especially online) so your main priority should be making sure you get damage off of it. j.B is really good when you're retreating since it follows you to the ground and gives you a free combo or free pressure on anyone getting too close for comfort.
Don't be afraid to burst early if it means getting out of the corner or just giving yourself some space to work with. Saving it for awakening isn't going to help much with Elizabeth's pitiful health anyway.
Thanks for the help, but im still learning all this fighting jargon.
5 is neutral correct, so no directional. 2 is down and 8 is up, correct?
C would be weak persona, so in Elizabeths case its when Thanatos comes out with his sword swings.
Zoning is just creating space between characters right?
I guess finally part of it is me handicapping myself too. In Smash Bros you can chain together all sorts of moves without having it come off as cheesing. I'm really not trying to cheese opponents by running the same combo over but only one of my now 4 wins has come without cheesing it up.
So much to learn.
A win's a win. Look at a numpad for number meanings, but yeah you got em right
