for point 1: youre mitsuru you dont wana be close you want to space them get random hits for 3k+ so doing 2c cancel into more pressure is always good and will build you some meter if they get hit by it. her 5a does hit crouchers its just against some characters at weird distances it doesnt hit them crouched while blocking.

for point 2: the shield will do the same thing but will not be able to jump out of it or just tech it. and there is a distance after bufudyne that you can throw them once the mirror is blocked once itll push them away enough for you to be able to throw them. as for combos just max charge 5b if the mirror is still hitting if not end it like 2b or 2a 2b mirror [4b] b coup. as for alpha counters if you really think the person is going to use them bait and punish it (do like a 2b a jc it or as for many things mitsuru does just be out of range). the main reason i was skeptical was the non existant hitstun after a long combo into bufudyne but if it works against people who tend to mash its a good set up but id stay on mirror if they are respectful or tend to jump alot because jump out seems easy for that one.

Just found out that Mitsuru's 2B has 3F of startup invincibility for no apparent reason. This game is weird.

I'm still playing it all the time as well, and going to the local P4 tourneys every couple of weeks. Definitely still a ton of fun (except against Yosuke players, they can all GDIF)

Alright, I always hate on anime fighters so I was slow to give this one a try but I'm down here in Galveston for Oni-Con this year and I went ahead and gave this game a shot.
Love it.

Really feelin Chie right now, I think on my way home I'm gonna pick it up and try to get my train on. PS3.

I'll post my PSN here if I do actually grab it. Beginner level so I fully expect to get wrecked on but LET'S DO THIS.

Arc System Works-developed fighter, Persona 4: Arena, is available as a download title on the Xbox Live Marketplace as of this week. The real news, though, is that it only costs $40.

In fact, that’s the game’s retail price now, too—Atlus USA say Persona 4: Arena now costs $40 on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America.

Persona 4: Arena was released in North America on August 7th. At the time, the game cost $60. Europe will see the game sometime in 2013.

Would anyone here recommend getting a gamepad purely for this game? I don't play fighters a whole lot, but I think the DualShock is limiting me a little bit.

Any suggestions on specific gamepads if you would suggest getting one?

Every time I played a pad player, they were using a pink PS3 pad and I got bodied pretty badly. Clearly your problem is you have the wrong color

Coming to EU on May 10th

After months of delays, Persona 4 Arena, which launched in North America and Japan last summer, will finally hit Europe on May 10, publisher Zen United has announced.

Pre-order bonuses will be available at all retailers. They include the official arrange soundtrack (with exclusive artwork) and a digital fan pack.

And there appears to be more news on the way for Persona in Europe.

“This is not the end though… there will be MORE news,” teased a post on the official Persona Europe Facebook page. “And that news will be GOOD.”

We can only wonder what they might be referring to.

Wow I didn't realize it wasn't out in EU yet...that's like a 10 month gap. fwiw Kiara it's not a terrible game, looks, sounds, and plays beautifully though the controls were too difficult for me to adjust to in the end.

Yeah, same garbage publisher that made us wait a year for BB too, fuck knows why they gave this game to them too. I actually had the game preordered back at US/JP release and was mad hype for it, but I cancelled my order after I saw it was delayed indefinitely. Don't really want to give the publisher any of my money, might just wait and grab it cheap preowned a little later on.

How difficult is it to just get a US console set up over there? Does it interact properly with XBL and whatnot?
