its a really small maltese that is a gigantic cunt. she butts in to everything and i'm having to spend almost every second of my day making sure she isnt ruining shit. we put her in her crate 4 hours ago to sleep(she was falling asleep in my lap so obivousl she's sleepy right?) and the second i left she started screaming and has not stopped. she's ruined her carrier by chewing through it and i currently have guitar amps blocking her carrier.

welp while typing this i had to try to put her back in it 4 times. all while she's screaming vigorously and i'm seriously trying not to commit animal abuse right now. it's bad enough i have insomnia but i'm getting quite tired of having to adjust this dog.

she's 3 months old and doesnt stop screaming at night. halp.

note the dog in the crate to the left having 0 issues with where he is. he's younger and much more behaved.

also i have a white noise fan in the room and a radio going so she has some noise. also has food and water.

was my first thing, idk maybe i should try the pullout method next.

tomorrow i'm going to take her to the vet to see if i'm able to give her melatonin. melatonin makes humans sleepy but it calms down dogs.

It's been taught that if it cries, it gets attention. Tough habit to break, and not one you should have to deal with. Buy some earplugs, noise cancelling. Put it in your bathroom where it can't really damage anything. I love my dogs, but I don't reward bad behavior with what they want.

Dude, the bathroom is right next to my bedroom. she's on the other side of the house and i still hear her. i have white noise playing through my surround sound and earplugs in and somehow i stil hear her.

this is the only dog i've ever seen do this. i'm gonna break this bitch of it one way or another.

You have to crate her for bed time and leave her alone until morning. She'll eventually learn to stfu when she is put in there. Don't talk to her or give her any attention when she's in the crate. She'll cry all night but hopefully it'll only last for one night. Did this for all three of my dogs. Sometimes it helps to cover the crate with a blanket. Don't bother leaving water or food inside because she'll probably just knock it over and make a mess.
