JP's getting blackouts on PS2 in Adoulin.

Do you take gold but can not participate in the content blackout of phosphorus Addo area? The White explained properly the official we are pissed
No different than PS2 getting blackouts in Port Jeuno(that they managed to band-aid last content update), not sure what they were expecting with SoA. Can't even do Voidwatch anymore on PS2, I'd hate to see how Reives/Delve content looks on it.
I don't have enough posts to link this but...

Sigh, why is it the people with the stupidest ideas post topics demanding SE change the game to specifically suit their short coming and not fix bad game design?
I kinda think it is. Slightly.
It's just I'm not sure I like the Get-clears from NM once - spam NQ plasm runs to get points to buy gear. I mean it's like why even make the NMs drop the gear in the first place?
I think the content would last a lot longer with more people doing NM clears if you couldn't just spam NQ mobs for plasm to buy the items the NMs drop. Maybe make it so NQ mobs drop a different time of plasm that can only be spent on airlixirs or something idk.
I mean most people now have all the T1-5 drops they need and are only really missing Mega Boss drops. The content's been out how long now? Soon enough everyone will have gotten the mega boss drops they need too and the event will die. It just doesn't seem designed to last a long time.
This may be true in relation to hardcore players, but it won't apply to the majority of people who play the game. There are still people who haven't cleared all of Voidwatch, and it's not strictly those who returned when Adoulin was released. Considering, it's perfectly in line with what Square Enix said it would be: something mastered by hardcore players first, and eventually made easier for more casual players second. I can understand why aggressive players would consider this unsatisfactory, but I wouldn't say that makes it bad—after all, it pleases one part of the player base early on, and then goes on to continue making other people happy. Meanwhile, if they manage to keep adding new content at a relatively respectable pace, the cycle will continue.
With all of that kept in mind, I don't think Delve is bad on its own. The only thing that could be bad—at least, for the hardcore community—is if SE can't crank out updates on a respectable timetable. Should history repeat itself in that regard, aggressive players will become bored. More casual ones will still have things to do, though.
I think your grossly overestimating how much the average player has grinded out delve.
Personally, I only have a small fraction of the plasm items I need, but I find it difficult to force myself into into mindless trash farm runs. It's exceedingly unfun, and there isn't any real motive to upgrade my gear right now. I mean what am I going to use this gear for, more delve trash mob runs?
For the handful of linkshells left capable of doing megabosses the content is fine, for the other 99%... I think it's awful.
Yeah sorry, I should have been more clear. I don't mean Delve itself is bad game design, I mean people complain about not being invited to stuff because they suck, instead of about things that they can't control like the pointless animation lock, etc that are actually bad game design. Didn't mean it in relation to Delve just "complain about things that actually should be adjusted" kind of thing. Which is hindsight is what I should have just said.
I think Delve is alright, despite destroying all weapons in the game up to that point and the desired to obtain those weapons with it. What I find annoying about delve is plasm farming, it really shouldn't be 18 man content. NMs and Bosses are fine the way they are, but it's annoying to either wait around for shouts that don't happen (at least on my server) or shout yourself for hours and get a huge spectrum of crappy to medicore to good players in your pick-up. Either that or somehow have had an EGLS with 18+ players that managed to survive the last 3+ years of low manning everything. Which obviously people do still have.
This is purely personal opinion and has nothing to do with game design, but that's definitely not how I feel. I love tearing through mobs in Delve. I could do it all day. Anything that gives me an opportunity to (mostly) go all-out for an extended period of time makes me happy. Then again, I enjoyed Colibri parties for the same reason, and I know that plenty of people found them boring. I just love to punch shit, every time, all the time.
Of course, I don't always get to, but I do find playing a mage there aptly challenging rather than boring, considering the need to monitor and reapply buffs, and to sometimes recollect everything when shit hits the fan.
I suppose I enjoy chaos.

My poor head.
It's the return of Hvergelmir!
If only he'd realize that his argument isn't the only weak thing...
I like that the same guy made a massive "help" thread on how to gear for Delve or something that was 15 posts for just the OP.

This guy is so full of himself. Jesus.
mhmm oh okayBut make sure you are following the weaponskills moderator.

He spends several pages defending the use of Myrkr and then basically melts down when mathematically shown that the WS is shit.
