These are the same loudmouths who go on and on about how every player (but them) wear inferior gear--as though AF3+1/+2 are on the same plane as level 17 Lizard gear--and how everyone should have 2 or 3 Empyrean weapons (because everyone should be as connected as they are. I'm from Chicago, so don't bother trying to sell me that). To them, anything that is accessible to players who want it is "gimp" (quotes added because it's nonsense). To these people, anything worth having must involve some type of Ironman Triathlon-type of event that requires the most "efficient" of jobs.

I'm slowly working my way into this update and hope that there's more to this and any flaws are fixed.

While Hayward is pretty dense, there is a kernel of truth buried in there. People who don't have a good linkshell to run with or lack a network of players to support them are basically fucked, and I think there are more folks in that situation than a lot of us realize.

Seal shouts are easily started/happen all the time, gil is easily farmed, +2 items shouts happen all the time, Emps can be solo'd or done in a small group of friends, WoE is booming right now, new HKCNMs/old BCNMS are all easily done in a small group, old content is easily done with 2-3 people or even solo'd. The only content that would present a challenge to a small group of non-decked out people is Voidwatch.

If you can't manage the rest of the content with how little it takes then you very much have a right to complain, but you have no leg to stand on while doing it.

Laziness.

I never had a real core group of friends, and the linkshells ive been in have never really gone out of their way to help each other out unless it's part of an event. The people I did hang out with would help every now and then, but for the majority I shouted for everything. Yes, I had an HNMLS to get things like gaiters, dalmy, novio, etcetc. But for things other than that I always just shouted.

In this past it was shouting for missions and quests, where pretty much all my missions were done with one or two friends, and shouted for the rest. And more recently with my AF3. 90% of my AF3+1 gear (complete BLM, BST and PLD) was shout groups, some made by me, some joining others, and the.. 6? (lol) pieces of +2 I have are the same way, though ive been more lucky with free drops during LS runs.

Granted.. it took months to do this in my now casual game play style, but shrug, got all AF+1 done a couple of days before this update, and thats what I was shooting for. Would of been a hell of a lot better if I had a dual box or a bitch friend to drag along and get all of this done in one week instead of months, but whatever.

Though yeah, screw ever working on an emp weapon. AF3+1 shouts/groups made me go crazy (seems thats never changed over the years), I couldnt imagine how much of a headache shouting to progress through an empy.

Everything in abyssea is duo-able. Get a mule, go duo it. Hell even shit like Tiamat was duo-able at 90.

I never noticed poor rambus got his account banned lol. Did he ever get it back? SE is a pile of fail, and that's coming from someone that wants to stab myself in the eye whenever I have to read a rambus post. He's not an rmt though.

It was just his mule that got banned, and it was forever ago. He sorta got caught in of their "BAN ALL THE GARDENERZZZ" sweeps. I'm pretty sure it's still banned.
