Remember that the 80 empyrean is just as blank weapon as well, with(lets face it) less reason to show it off.

For mythics it would have been nice to get the item back without the Aftermath effect after completing Duties, Tasks, and Deeds since that quest was just a pain to deal with.

Then again once you have finished DT&D you probably have all 3 triggers anyways or at least 2/3 of them (Fuck you Tyger and your never dropping of your trigger item). So odds are you are not waiting for very long to win the final BC fight and claim your prize.

I use windower but none of its plugins (except PlasticSurgeon). I gear swap all the time manually, with 2~3 macros per set. It's not a challenge at all. If you honestly think you need a program to gear swap, then something is severely wrong with you.

Even more sad to see that someone liked it.

For contribution, it looks like Square Enix is finally getting upset about us players calling them out on their crap. Either that or its one of the employees thinking on his own, who knows?

Honestly I figured that was more a general response to the people who are literally sending Tanaka death threats and otherwise personally attacking the man.

Critiquing policies? Fine. Personal attacks on named staff members? Not fine. We all know there are nutjobs on this game crazy enough to hurt, abduct, or even kill him [eg, Starcade]. There is plenty of reason to be scared shitless by some of the shit that's been posted over there, even if not in that thread in particular.

I see. I hadn't really paid attention to the death threats, but that's definitely going too far. I thought he was upset because we were saying how awful their business direction is turning.

I've made some jokes (in other threads I think) about busting into SE headquarters in a kill bill outfit and I think that's probably as far as anyone has gone. I don't think anyone has come within miles of making a starcade level death threat. Actually one guy suggested he kill himself which I somehow got blamed for by that newmonkey guy who called me a "pathetic piece of crap" lol. But even that guy was clearly joking.

I remember when I was still playing on PS2, i used to play majority of the game with the controller and still managed gear swaps. definitely not the softkeys though.

you definitely get a hand for it... but looking back, and looking at my neato computer, I wouldn't return to it.

these people are just retarded, and will (hopefully, though I've been proven wrong) get what suits their "skill"

Mods have been deleting a lot of the more extreme threads but I've definitely seen some threads just browsing through the Other and BC forums with some serious psycho-tier OPs. What's worse is you get about a half dozen people coming in saying "Yeah, should kill that bastard lolol" before the thread gets nuked. People are fucked up.

The one or two really extreme ones that I noticed were deleted pretty quickly by the GMs. There's a lot of rampant Tanaka hate in general, too, which tends to cross the line from policy attack to personal attack.

I am starting to think that we need to put a moratorium on "Balance", even though it is completely awesome and hilarious. Obviously there are some unhinged people who just don't get that it is a joke; that he isn't a great satan who is ruining everything for them, he is just a guy who doesn't understand that his concept of "fun" is what most people consider "masochism".

And it sucks because when I got back home I was going to make a "Tanaka's Charms" cereal box with ore, log, and ingot marshmallows as part of a "Balance" breakfast. And it was going to be awesome.
