ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND BULLSHIT. Having personally FUCKING DISARMED A SUICIDE BOMBER (as in, vest disarmed, dude taken alive) as well as having done many Post Blast Analysis of the aftermath of suicide bombers, the only thing your gonna fucking find is the head (75% chance) and I honestly shit you not, the fucking dick (65% chance). The arms and legs usually get fucking mangled, more so depending on location (arms over head, kneeling, etc.) as well as type of explosives (PE4 will give you your best pink misting) and additional fragmentaion (ball bearings, 7.62mm rounds, nut's and bolts) and how they included the fragmentation (is it mixed into the explosives, did they make improvised claymores etc.)

I could go on telling you about the craziness that is these peoples life decisions bring about, but i digress...

Suffice it to say, if a suicide bomber has 15lbs of explosives, you'll find chunks of meat, maybe a head, and possibly a dick lying around. arms and legs will be in pieces, and yeah you might can pull a print of those, but WHAT ARE YOU GONNA MATCH THAT FINGER PRINT TOO? the iraqi peoples database is decent enough with probably 75% of the popluation enrolled

anyway, if they really hit that house with a mk 82, there aren't gonna be nice little pictures of dead children with handcuffs on to take pictures of, 200lbs of tritonal in a heavy cased munition is just going to fuck that shit up beyond recogntion
possible this "air strike" was helo support, I.e., A hellfire fired from an appache. Hellfire has a shaped charge probably like 15-40lbs and with a shaped charge you don't get much left and right fragmenation (considering) however you do get armor piercing capabilites /shrug.

Either way, the story has glaring ass holes in it full of inconsistences

Did the government say those weren't the members of the family killed?

What the fuck are we arguing at this point? That the explosion should have blown them to bits? Ok, not unreasonable. But, AFAIK - those pictures are of the victims.

Wouldn't a simple 'those weren't them' comment from the government further this discussion along instead of talking shop?

That would require the govt. to investigate who they were, and clearly they dgaf. Not that I do really either, just saying, the govt stance is that it's a non issue, shouldn't have been in a warzone etc...
