I try to avoid posting unfinished fanfics, but this guy updates pretty regularly. (just updated twice today) This was initially meant to be a one-shot, but after mass requests he continued the story. I'm not going to sugar coat it, there's going to be some serious topics that may leave a bad taste in some reader's mouths but it's handled tactfully. If you stick it out, you'll find that the story will redeem itself several times over for touching on such sensitive subjects without demonizing any of the characters in the process. (Strong Teen Rating, but some chapters are NSFW)

During said sleepover, Nightmare Moon emerges from Luna's psyche. The dark goddess would love nothing more than to have the beautiful purple unicorn all to herself!

If you can get past the occasional bad spelling/grammar in this one, you'll find a pretty comical story. Pretty much plays out like a harem anime where Twilight is her Rule63 counterpart (Dusk Shine) and loosely (very loosely) follows the show. This one updates pretty regularly too.

Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

Yea, but this is Pen Stroke's final cut. I read a few chapters already and noticed the effort made to make Nyx less of a Mary Sue. Twilight is more in character from the first version I read too.
