Something I put together as a possible aside scene in my fanfic. Ran it past my editor and they said it was too much or a Teen rating. I just don't know what went wrong:

Berry Punch, Carrot Top, and Derpy sat at a table outside of the carrot farmer's house. While the three mares were locked into their wine fueled gossip, Berry Pinch and Dinky were in the front yard bouncing a ball between them.

"So, Big Macintosh and Princess Luna huh?" Berry Punch sighed, resting her head against a hoof and tracing the rim of her glass. "Would've never seen that in a thousand years."

"At least it debunks your theory that he was playing for the other team, doesn't it?" Carrot Top teased, leaning to the fuchsia mare. Berry Punch let out a groan and took a swallow of her beverage. "You think Luna will ever let him out of the castle? He always did such a great job plowing my field." Carrot closed her eyes to savor a sip of wine and reopened them to see a shocked Derpy and Berry Punch. "Literally speaking of course." She concluded while pointing to the carrot farm over her shoulder.

"We got bigger issues to worry about anyway." Berry Punch said with a hiccup.

"Like what?" Derpy asked, still nursing her first glass.

Berry straightened her posture and scrunched her nose up. "If we don't get our Big Mac-Daddy back, we'll be stuck playing for the other team too."

"There's still a few good men out there." Carrot retorted with hope in her voice. Berry threw her head back laughing.

"Like who? Unless you want to dye your coat white and your mane purple, Caramel and Lucky are out of the question. (I still don't understand what they see in that drama queen.) Who's left after that? Davenport? Rare Find?" Berry Punch gritted her teeth and grimaced as if mere utterance of the next name caused physical pain. "Pokey Pierce."

"Whatever happened between you two? You guys seemed so happy together." Carrot Top asked, leaning forward and resting her chin on steepled hooves. Outside of Berry's peripheral, Derpy flailed her arms frantically in an attempt to stop the carrot farmer from bringing up the past.

"Well, for starters..." Berry Punch took a glance away from the table, making sure Dinky and Ruby Pinch were tentatively playing. Satisfied, she stood up on her hind legs and pointed downward.

"Yikes!" Derpy yelped, holding her arms up to cover her face.

"Wow! All six? How did you manage to feed Ruby with those in there?" Carrot asked, while holding her own lower abdomen in sympathy pain. "That had to hurt!"

Berry Punch sat down and took a few gulps of wine. "That's nothing compared to being married to that pain in the flank!"

"Heh, even if Big Mac was into men, I'd still have a chance." Derpy chuckled in attempt to change the subject.

"How do you figure that?" Carrot Top raised an eyebrow at the mailmare. Derpy stood up and stretched her wings out in preparation.

"Give me a second to prepare for this." Derpy took to the air and plucked a small chunk of a low hanging nimbus and swooped down to land back at her seat. She prepared to hold it above her head but stopped to look over at Dinky and Ruby playing. "Dinky? Would you be a muffin and get mommy some hot water?"

"Awww mom, you're not going to do it again are you?" Dinky wined with her ears flopping down.

"Sounds like somepony doesn't want to go to last year's carnival when we get back home." Derpy threatened. She smiled in satisfaction watching the light purple and blonde blur run into Carrot Top's house. Taking a sigh, she continued with her story.

"So, Dinky asked Doctor Whooves if he could help with her history project on the Annexation of Colto Rico. Instead of taking her to the library like a regular pony, he decides to shove us all in the TARDIS. Of course, some whibbly whobbly timey-wimey thing happened and we wound up in the Ramnaverse. To make a long story short, whenever I get cold water on me..." Derpy held the chunk of cloud up and tapped it a few times until it rained on her. Berry Punch and Carrot Top's eyes shrunk into pinpricks as they watched Derpy's shape change. Her chest broadened as she grew taller and her muzzle became more defined. Once the cloud dried up, Derpy transformed into a stallion. "...this happens!" He concluded in a much deeper voice.

"Here's your water mommy... er... daddy?" Dinky stammered while balancing a tea kettle atop her head. "You need to stop doing this, daddy said he's working on a cure."

"Thanks muffin, but I was proving a point." The stallion said. Derpy held the kettle up and prepared to pour it over himself. "At least things go back to normal with hot water." Before Derpy could pour the water, Berry Punch jumped up and grabbed his arms, stopping him.

"Now hold on a second." Berry said in a sensual low growl. "I could get into this."

"Berry?" Derpy's eyes widened at his friend siding up to him. The mare turned stallion tried to back away but bumped into Carrot Top leaning against him.

"This is a turn of events isn't it?" Carrot Top teased. "Hey Dinky? Why don't you go play? We need to have a word with your mother. A private word."

Dinky narrowed her eyes at the two mares, but her look of concern turned into a smile. "Okay!"

"Girls? You know I'm still the same Derpy, right? We've known each other since preschool." The pegasus warned. But it was already too late, Carrot Top and Berry Punch were already guiding him into the house.

"You look like more of a stud muffin to me." Berry teased. "Don't worry, I won't bite... hard."

"I hope he can fit it all in." Carrot Top added with a chuckle.

"Girls, girls, wait! I... I... Whaaaaaaa!"
