Well that's borderline creepy and disturbing...

Also, finished reading all the current chapters of Dusk Shine's Unexpected Love Life. I think after reading that my biggest complaint is how most of the time it has hardly anything to do with either Dusk or his love life. It's mostly just pure randomness. Pretty disappointed he isn't going to do anything with Winter Wrap Up or Fall Weather Friends either.

From what I can tell, the whole purpose of that fic was to incorporate as many memes as possible within one story. After a while, the references, sarcastic narration, and over the top Pinkie Pie really killed what could've been a great story. Pretty much a case of good idea, bad execution. What kind of fanfics are you looking for? I could find something to get the bad taste out of your mouth later.

In the meantime, I'm going to throw this one out. It's been in my read later folder for what feels like forever. Recently I found these anime-esque screencaps that were from the said story which drew me in. There's quite a few spinoffs from this fiction most from different authors. In fact, this is a spinoff/sequel to another story done by the same author. Storyception if you will...

Cloud Kicker might just have the wildest life of any pony in Equestria. Marvel at the insanity that is her life, and laugh at the suffering of her poor beleaguered best friend, Blossomforth.

This is a semi-sequel to "The Incredibly Dense Mind of Rainbow Dash." Not really a proper sequel, since it's

focused on Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth instead of Rainbow and Pinkie, but it's in the same continuity. So I guess that makes it a follow-up-side-quel story. Or something. You don't need to have read "The Incredibly Dense Mind of Rainbow Dash" to read or enjoy this, but you ought to read it anyway, just because.

This story runs parallel to Ponibius' "The Study of a Winning Pony"

Also, Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth still need their own tags. They're too awesome to spend their lives stuck under the "other" tag.

I was mostly just curious in the fic since I ran into the comic. Read the first chapter thought it was good, and had a ton of potential, but then seen the ball drop into a bottomless pit with over the top, forced, and random humor with zero character progression most of the time, which I find critical for stories like that.

Twilight - SCH/BLU
Scholar fits her whole love of learning thing(especially magic), and Blue Mage due to her being able to learn magic just by watching others.

Rainbow Dash - DRG/WAR
This was a though one. I guess Dragoon because jumping is the closest you an get to flying? I went with /Warrior as she is generally the first one willing to get into a fight, but maybe Thief would be better because of sprint? IDK.

Fluttershy - BST/DRK
Beast master should be obvious with the whole animal thing. Dark Knight I just went with because of her... other self.

Rarity - DNC/???
Dancer, as she is all about style. having a hard time figuring out what else she would be, probably a magic job as she is a unicorn, but I don't think that should be a requirement. Maybe Geomancer?

Pinkie - BRD/NIN
She likes to sing, dance, can play several instruments and is great at parties! Couldn't be more bard. And ninja because she needs to be able to wield multiple instruments at once. Also she can appear out of freaking no where.

Applejack - MNK/SAM
Monk because she can kick really hard and Samurai because her name is Jack.

If you wanna go more traditional (limited to FF1 jobs) and ascribe jobs to the ponies that would actually make a legtimate, working party:

Twilight: Black mage
Fluttershy: White mage
Applejack: Monk
Pinkie: Thief
RD: Fighter
Rarity: Red mage (they have always been the most fabulous)

Rarity - Mediator (look at how manipulative she can be)
Pinkie Pie - Bard
Applejack - Monk
Fluttershy - Beastmaster or Onion Knight (One of those characters that's extremely weak starting out and require a ton of side quests to improve them. After all the quests are done, she winds up being so OP that the game isn't fun anymore if you use her. AKA the "Magicarp")

Twilight - Time Mage. Does good with Black magic as well, but never let her near RDM or she'll end up like RDM from 8-bit theater.

AJ - Monk, but with footwork up all the time for obvious reasons. Huuuuuundred Hooooooves!

Rarity - Whitemage. Only other magic user, and wounds are -not- fabulous darling.

Fluttershy - Summoner/Beastmaster. Not the most effective, since she asks her Avatars rather than telling them. However, her limit breaks/2 hour are 1 shot kills on any enemy.

RD - Dragoon. Maybe also thief, since she's fast and sneaky.

Pinkie Pie - PUP or Bard. PUP if it was like bard, I guess.

Bonus:
Derpy - A spoony bard
Trixie - Ultros
CMC's - Magus Sisters

Not sure how common knowledge this is yet, but if you kick your device into airplane mode, you can buy a number of the balloon pop ponies for coins. Dr. Whooves was only 2500 I think. Trixie and Photo Finish were also for coins, but I need to save up for them since I ran out of room and had to start expanding again >.>

Also, anyone else having problems with the social stuff? The game almost always thinks I have no "friends," either from Facebook or GL, so I can't send or receive gifts most of the time...
