I wasn't fretting over the episode, the /v/ comment was about how some people in /v/ were hacking a few streams.
And yeah I thought it was an enjoyable episode. Kinda cliche and predictable, but still good.

Mainhatten, and her fucking accent had me dying
CMC, /shudder. Will get around to watching it when I get home I guess.
Only episode of any released I haven't seen (aside from today, which I'll watch when I get home) was a CMC episode; never cared enough to go back and watch it (last CMC ep of season 2)
IIRC that was the Valentine's episode, which wasn't half bad.
It was Ponyville Confidential. That episode never had a chance after Hurricane Fluttershy.
I don't like the CMC. I didn't care much for this episode, either. Props for giving the visiting cousin strange proportions compared to normal (she seems to represent a "husky" kid and her mane/tail were interesting), but there weren't really any highlight moments in this episode for me. The younger ponies are best when they have some of the adult ponies in the episode to balance them out, but the mane 6 were rather scarce this time.
The thing I hate about the progression of the show from S1 to S3 the most is that the moral lessons are getting more and more obvious and predictable. For all of the S3 episodes so far, the moral lesson was obvious as hell. I know it's a kid's show but it never used to be this bad, like they're beating the viewers over the head with the moral flavor of the day.
The songs are getting worse too. We had some great songs in S1 and S2 (Winter Wrap up, Flimflam Brothers & the Pet song especially), but S3 so far has been full of awkwardness as far as songs go. It kind of pains me to listen to some of the lyrics in these and setting them to generic pop music instead of a catchy, easily recognizable tune using actual instruments is a departue from old. I guess making it sound like today's garbage pop might be appealing to younger kids who are growing up with that stuff, but it's no substitute for actual musical integrity in my opinion.
Well S3 has plenty of time to redeem itself in both of those departments, but I hope it pulls out some epic stuff pretty soon because I already feel like I could use a reminder of why this show hooked so many people in the first place.
I don't mind the songs, but yeah the lessons are a bit predictable I'd say this is the highlight of the season so far.
Crystal Empire was nice, but all that hype for Sombra and they blew it. And Too Many Pinkies was just annoying and I couldn't tell if there was an actual plot or not since I hardly paid attention.
I just hope the Trixie episode isn't going to be as predictable as I'm assuming it will be. Talked to a friend last night and we discussed what we assume the episode will be about.
Normally not a big fan of rap, but this one's special...

Hahah that was great. Even though I'm tired of that meme, somehow it's still funny.
Only times I found the meme good were that and Deadpool VS Gangnam Style. Other than that, I can't stomach that song.
I dunno if this has been shared or not, but MLP 4Koma is also good for a laugh:

Speaking of WTF, I might have seen everything the fandom has to offer after this. (NSFW)

Preview of Magic Duel:
Spoiler: show
Not really that impressed. Just as predictable as I thought it would be.
Lets be honest, season 2 was made for the bronies, now they're just filling time and keeping the brand alive. Even the mlp filler is better than 90% of other stuff, so enjoy that.
Sad but true. In all honesty if the season keeps going down this road, I welcome the end of the series. I didn't mind some of the fanbase shoutouts in S2 (The controversial Derpy scene, Vinyl being the DJ @ the wedding, Pinkie's hoof bump, etc.) but they went from being a neat surprise to just being cluttered.
I think what I'm try to say is that enjoy this for what it is, because we knew going in that S3 wouldn't be as good. Don't create a standard it can't live up to every time, or you'll just get more and more upset the more it fails.
