If there isn't a season 4 then yeah, I'll get what your saying. Given the logistics of what this is though, at its core: A Saturday Morning Cartoon show; I'm ecstatic we got 2 seasons of top tier content.

Myself, I don't like looking at something new and comparing it to the past. There's too many familiar things that can stand out the more you compare things, and eventually you end up either gentrifying what you are looking at, resenting it, or being angry at it for being not close enough to the original. As long as it's good enjoy it. If it isn't good, don't.

Sorry, not trying to be preachy. Your tone the last week has just shifted, and I'm that special kind of foolish that pays attention to how things are said rather than what. I'm dealing with something right now that I absolutely have to stay positive on, so it stands out like white on black.

Actually worth checking out just for the concept. This was made back when people had crazy theories about Scootaloo's origins. Oh wait, they still do:

Scootaloo's rather embarrassed by her Mom. Not because she isn't cool, arguably she's both the hottest and the coolest mom in Ponyville. It's not about the fact that her mom serves on the royal court either, though that doesn't help. Maybe it's got more to do with the fact that the reason her mom is almost never seen after sunrise or before sunset, or because before the Mare in the Moon returned to Equestria, she knew her name.

Or, you know, that her mother is a chocoholic, an embarrassing know it all that's actually lived it all, owes personal favors to Princess Luna, and has the unfortunate job description of 'ruler of the land and day'. Sure, having Celestia as your mom is cool and all, but at the same time nopony can know who she really is. Nopony gets to 'know' her, and every moment is guarded against snooping visitors. And yet, there's still hope for a better day to come.

Sadly, there's no appearance from Burt Reynolds...
