Just noticed that they left out some small bits, probably because of the longer OP/ED. Like the part where Twilight asks Spike what book she's looking for (now he just magically knows what to look for), and she doesn't thank the colts that carried her to Ponyville. But w/e, doesn't really disturb the flow of the story ^^

Solved the problem for me. Loaded the YouTube page with FF configured to use one of the proxies. Supposedly Stealthy for Chrome can do it to with less clicks.

This isn't me being a fanboy or anything but I'll bet season 4 might give season 2 a run for its money. Season 1 will always be the best, but 4 might come close. Hasbro has probably given them a bunch of leeway after they got what they wanted out of the finale and Equestrian Girls. I'm expecting to see some stuff that was probably saved in "the vault" when Faust was still in charge.

More fanfic picks coming in a couple of days. Just about caught up on my backlog.

Speaking of S3, I'm curious what made S3 to hectic to McCarthy. Trying to figure out what to do with the Twilight becoming a princess thing Hasbro forced them into?

I still think the main issue with Season 3 was all the drama stacked onto what was essentially half a season. Bad episodes stood out more, good episodes seemed few and far between and with all the meta, inexperienced writers, C&D letters being sent out to highly anticipated fan works, removal of episodes from YouTube (which all except The Last Roundup are back now) and Equestrian Girls, it was a recipe for a bad time.
As long as MLP continues to be a cash cow for Hasbro, things can only get better.

I remember that one lol, now I'm tempted to read it again. As soon as it got featured, a mass influx of cursing pony fics were written by other authors trying to capitalize on the fanfiction equivalent to catching lightning on a bottle. Fortunately, none of them had the same impact and creativity was once again preserved. Supposedly it was the precursor to the "Pony Does X" one-shot trend where you take a popular character and have them do something that could be surprisingly in character or randomly out of character which would generate situational comedy in an attempt to get a quick feature. The most popular ones involve Luna playing the "fish out of water" role and Celestia being the "straight man" to her antics.

Putting on my lyricist hat today. Gotta come up w/ something great. This is the first time this character will get to sing on the show.

IMHO it just means we'll hear a character sing that hasn't before, not necessarily that it's a solo song ^^ So Mane6, Spike, CMC and Celestia are out... Luna, Discord, Cadance, Shining Armor, maybe even one of the named BG characters ^^;

Luna singing would probably be SO AWESOME! :3
