I dunno. I kind of like them. Even though when I was a kid I went apeshit over ponies, I also had Barbies and stuff. Human figures who looked this colorful would have set off my "OMGDOWANT" child brain immediately. I probably would have insisted on having all of them. Yes, it might be a good move by Hasbro toy-wise... at least they don't look like horrible abominations (I think Bratz and other human figure dolls tend to look weird). I mean, their legs are kinda spindly, but overall the form is not bad.

I'd take these over the 2004(?) reboot of the mlp figures anyday.

The new versions are apparently closer to what we've seen in the trailers, pre-anthrotransformation.
