    The whole Twilight flying thing. She flew perfectly fine at the finale, why couldn't we just go with that? Hell even Rarity could with fake wings.

    What Twilight's having problems with is actually a little more rough than regular flight. Remember that vertical "rise up and *foom*" move Celestia does during the Summer Sun Celebration?

    That's what she's trying to learn how to do. Rise up and hover in an incredibly awkward position while performing a complex piece of alicorn-level magic while synchronizing it with Celestia and Luna. In other words, not just flying.

    Also, as a note- the voice of Daring Do is notable for also being the 1990's-era Bon-Bon and a few other ponies besides. Multi-generational VA's, yay!

    Especially the backstory stuff.

    There were a few great laugh moments too. Most of what Discord said, Big Mac's tussle with the vines, and Spike hitting the window XD

    Princess Twilight wasn't as annoying as I was expecting, tbh. I guess I'm fine with it now. But after all that hubbub about how Twilight sucks at flying and how much time they spent on it, it ended up not even being a major plot point in the story and at the end of the episode she does just fine with no closure or anything.

    Overall was pleasantly surprised that it was better than expectations.
