Besides Discord, they added Luna at the end with Celestia and the new intro letter picture.
Spoiler: show
First thing I thought when I saw this was there are a few characters there that aren't really their friends, Snips and Snails, the mayor. Why put them in the group shot?
Episode 8 Title: Rarity takes Manehatten.
Also, have some daww:

And we can add in episode 4??: Rainbow Falls, from the Dash 5-episode DVD that's coming out in March.
That's cool more RD episodes since she is my favorite character. Seems like we getting a lot of RD episodes in the near future, Daring Do one next week, pretty sure she plays a main role in the Scootaloo one the week after.
Season looks pretty good so far, they seem to be taking them to a lot of new locations, I remember how the animators said it was a lot easier if they just stay in Ponyville lol
There's a preview u for Daring Don't on the MLP Facebook page. However I can't find a YT link to embed.
Finally:

And another preview from TV guide.
Is it just me or are they making RD (and to a lesser extent, AJ) bigger assholes?
Anyway, Don't Mine At Night is done. Hell of a lot better than Button's Adventure to IMO:
Is it weird I love the hell out of Terraria/Starbound but can't get into Minecraft?
Not too bad of an episode, but a clear reminder to me why action isn't something this show can really pull off.
Aaaaand it's up:
Despite being an RD fan, I wasn't really digging this episode.
Spoiler: show
That probably would have been better than the episode. Speaking of that...
Spoiler: show
Yea I thought the whole Daring Do is an actual character that writes autobiographical books on what actually happens to her kind of weird, but I guess they wanted an adventure story. Still enjoyed the episode though. RD was kind of playing the role of those obsessed fan, like the ones that were bothering Lauren Faust all the time.
On another note went to the doctor for a physical, had to get blood drawn for tests and in the blood drawing room they had this jar full of Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie stickers for the kids. I thought it was pretty hilarious they had mlp pony stickers.
So...did you get a sticker?
Maybe I'm jaded but I really don't feel the other 5 had to even be here for this one. Pretty much all they (read: Twilight) do is give a pep talk that maybe would have been a little more significant if RD had come to that conclusion ("wait why am I acting like a chump, I'm a badass") on her own. Daring (or to be more to the point, her villains) being real raises a lot of questions.
The "moral" is also kind of weird considering how much of a rabid fangirl RD was being and how that's almost entirely ignored just because she ended up being useful and wising up by the end. It feels like I just watched Galaxy Quest.
Yeah, I wish the morale was don't be a moronic, rabid fanboy. A lesson most of this fandom could learn from I think![]()
But maybe the villians aren't actually real. Or any of it. Isn't it a possibility that Yearling just plays the part of Derring Do (are we sure it's 'daring'? Is there an official spelling? It's just that 'derring' is how it's spelled in the phrase it comes from...)? I mean, it could be an elaborate setup to give her ideas for her books, right? After all, there are some things that are much harder to imagine up than to actually stumble into doing.
