I hope they make it to the actual Equestria Games this season and it doesn't get dragged out to season 5. There has been so much build up for it which started last season. Guessing it will be season finale at this point. Since they still have 4 more element episodes and rainbow gifts to get.

God damn it Hasbro...

The HUGE push though? The new Equestria Girls movie, Rainbow Rocks. The girls are back and performing in a battle of the bands - each come with their own instruments, and Pinkie has a drum kit! There's a big stage for them to perform on, and loads of other characters will be released for the movie too. Best one? DJ Pon-3, who has a car! With the windshield that looks like sunglasses! That can be removed so you can wear them!

Because Hasbro has to milk the franchise for all it's worth. And since EG did well (unfortunately) in theaters, it was only inevible that they'd make a sequel despite how god awful the movie was. I'd like to say there's a chance at it having some redeeming qualities, but Trixie taking Twilight's role instead of Sunset was enough for me to doubt that and it will only appeal to white knights/people with low as hell standards.

Because that's their endgame. Not necessarily a bad thing considering how Transformers: Prime ended.

The worst thing about EG was the awful villian and the stupid crown plot. Without that, it's entirely possible another movie will be more enjoyable than EG was.

Yeah, I was expecting Discord to have planned the whole thing to get Twilight and Cadence to spend time together. It being all a prank (and him wanting to ruin their day) was kinda bleh..
