I'm assuming this is either a heavily modified version of the "leaked" build done by someone who used to be affiliated with Mane6. Just looking at the footage this was done by someone familiar with the engine. Someone already tried to patch one of the older builds, this one actually looks complete.

Its actually real, just played it. Basically is based off the leaked version with all 6 characters playable now. The guys who made it aren't anyway affiliated with mane6, they just wanted to finish the game.

I had to drag out my PS3 TE fightstick to play this. I had a PS controller and Xbox controller mainly used for FFXI and FFXIV already hooked up but the dpads are such shit that combos and especially supers didn't go off. Plugged in the TE stick and wow it actually plays like a real game now lol.

Applejack still seems overpowered, RDs damage seems a bit low.

AJ was always the newbie friendly character. I got bored with her real quick once I got used to the game and moved on to Pinkie. Not having projectiles and weak pokes keeps her from being god-tier. Just from looking at her combos, Fluttershy seems crazy OP, but I'm going to have to try her out myself. I hope whoever did this keeps up their promises to add patches and the like, maybe even to the point of having new playable characters or a story mode. Just imagine Lyra doing a Blodia Punch against Nightmare Moon.

Beat the story mode with Rainbow Dash, she plays kind of similar to rush down offensive characters, kind of reminds me of like a wolverine. The AI was pretty cheap AJ and Twilight took a few tries to beat. I played some online beat a bunch of random people guessing pony fans don't play fighting games much cause I didn't lose a single match.

Yeah, Twilight's AI is pretty crazy at times. She gave me the hardest time out of everyone, even when using Pinkie. Looks like they fixed the majority of those game breaking bugs from the EVO build too. It's still not perfect with all the infinites, but a lot better since the real game breaking stuff is fixed. Unless Daigo or Woolie sign up for the tournament, average players like us might be able to finish in the winner's bracket.

To me, it just opens doors to misconceptions to an already misunderstood fanbase. Even to this day I still don't call myself a brony. In a way I'm not. I enjoy the show, most fan made work and I might rock my Doctor Whooves t-shirt, but that's about it.

You should go. I still go to Katsucon and I don't even like anime anymore. It's all about the experience and the people you meet.

Eh I dunno, I feel like if I was there, I'd be hanged or burned at the stake since...

1. I feel like the show's quality is declining. Mostly due to the episodic format, static characters, and small cast.
2. I hate a good portion of the fandom. And not a fan of most of the musicians. I hate Mando, can't stand Tombstone's music, and in general hate electric music. Rock all the way.
3. I don't consider myself a brony, in fact, I consider being called one an insult

Honestly though, I'd probably be the guy sitting at a table coding on his laptop. Or looking around Baltimore. One of the reasons I'm considering it is because I'd like to get out of the Midwest even if it's just for the weekend to see another city.

It's in Baltimore?! Then by all means, go for it. Just stay away from all the tourist trap bars/restaurants around the convention center, be careful walking at night, and you should have a good time.
Not sure how big Bronycon is compared to Otakon, but it should be a pretty chill environment. Is this during the spring?
