pats defense hasn't played with each other really at all yet, so I expected a sloppy performance on that side of the ball. Just read the dolphins were like 2-14 on third down, which is the best sign ever for a pats fan that watched them give up 50% of third downs last year. big week next week vs SD - hope tolbert is still hurt!

It's interesting though how if the lack of off-season stuff had a measurable effect, it was on the defenses more than the offenses.
